  1. WonderWoman

I have been using the Kat Burki Eye Cream for 2 weeks in the morning and at night.

The cream comes in a frosted glass bottle. The eye cream is dispensed via a pump. The cream has a slight fragrance but it did not irritate my eyes. The cream’s consistency, once dispensed, is slightly thick but it seems to be light once it’s applied. It absorbs easily. The instructions say to “tap a dime-size amount around each eye”, but I found that was way too much.

When I first started using the cream, I had a some very fine lines that suddenly appeared under my lower lid, which is why I ordered the cream. It may have been irritation, but within a week, that area did look better and the fine lines were barely noticeable. After 2 weeks, that area is looking a lot better and definitely more hydrated.

The good news is that I haven’t had any issues with using the Kat Burki Eye Cream…no irritation, burning, tearing, etc.

It’s too soon to see improvement in the darkness around my eyes but the 8% Vitamin C should help. Time will tell.

This did not give me an instant result as advertised. Maybe with time? I’ve been using it several times a day for about a week now and I’m thinking I might be seeing a slight improvement. But that’s up for debate. I’m also thinking it’s just my wishful thinking. I know a little bit of cream can’t instantly alter years of aging, but the manufacturer shouldn’t claim that it can. The cream has a very slight scent which I find very pleasing. It does feel a bit refreshing and helps with my tired eyes. It really burned when I got some in my eyes. Plus I had put some on a few hours before showering and that was a mistake. The product ran into my eyes and burned again. I will use the rest of the bottle and update this review if I notice any real difference by then. Even if it does eventually help, I’m not sure I’d be buying it very often at $ 90 for such a small bottle.

I’ve been using this eye cream a few weeks and I feel like my eye area is better hydrated and possibly the undereye puffiness has lessened. I do not see an improvement in the dark undereye circles, however, I was told dark circles are often caused by allergies and fair/transparent skin so I’ve never found an eye cream that helps with that. Other reviews indicate having had a reaction to this cream. I typically have very sensitive skin and I have not experienced a reaction to this product. All in all, it appears to do its job and a little bit goes a really long way so don’t let the price put you off.

  4. sasha larson

This eye serum contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate which is a form of vitamin c and beneficial for brightening. It also has caffeine in it that’s helpful for reducing dark circles and puffy eyes.
While common sense says that you shouldn’t use too much of this on your eyes, especially on the lids, I don’t think using it on the lids is the best idea. I have had no adverse effects but some folks get sweaty eyes and it’s going to make the serum run into them and according to other reviewers, it’s not going to be pleasant.
This is not a hydrating serum so even after I apply it, I feel the need to top it off with something creamier and more emollient. It has a scent of shea butter.
I know that true results will take time to see and I do notice a subtle brightening effect but the price is too high for .5 ounce.

Oh my goodness, owwwww…… I just received this in the mail and was super excited to try it out. I opened the box, popped the cap off, squirted a tiny amount onto my finger, rubbed it on both closed eyes, attempted to open my eyes, and immediately regretted life decisions. For the love of all that is holy; it was like I had just been pepper-sprayed. My kids heard my yelps, one ran to get me a wet cloth, another led me to the sink to wash my face. As I type this review, I must admit, this eye serum DID make me feel more awake, though I’m not sure it did anything about my eye circles or reduced any puffiness, considering it looks like I’ve been crying. And yes, I realize this was not designed to go IN my eyes, but in my defense, it is very watery, and I wasn’t expecting something intended to be used near the eyes to be so eye-unfriendly.

Tl;dr This expensive eye cream does not feel like an indulgence, it feels like punishment. Don’t do it.

This eye cream definitely does it’s job, after using this for several weeks I did notice my eyes looking more moisturized and younger. However I have to admit that this stuff is STRONG, it is important to patch test this on another part of your body prior to use especially since you’re going to use this on one of the thinnest part of your body, it’s important that you won’t have a negative reaction to it first.

After using this for a few weeks I’m comfortable in saying that it does a great job at moisturizing my eyes and does slightly reduce the puffyness, but this took a while before noticing a difference. You only need a little bit because as I’ve said this stuff is extremely strong, and using too much is a very easy way to irritate your skin.

This cream is absolutely amazing. It has very impressive ingredients list. The absorbency is the best. One pump is enough to cover area around both eyes. It smells great, moisturizes the skin, it does help with dark circles. Price is on a high end, but it worth every penny.
