For twenty years, my annual physicals have found me to be slightly anemic with low RBC and low WBC counts, both of which, lately, were about eight tenths of a point lower than the “normal” range. I had been troubled because the trend showed my blood counts to be dropping. My physicians seemed to be puzzled. Colonoscopies showed nothing. In the meantime, I was doing a lot of research on my own. As a vegetarian, the only daily supplements that I had been taking were: 100 mcg vitamin B12 and 300 mg Magnesium. I am not a fan of diet supplements, but five months ago, after much research into anemia, I added to my daily diet one 15 mg tablet of this KAL chelated zinc supplement. The zinc supplement is the only change to my diet I have made in several years. Anyway, my latest physical, last week, showed my RBC and WBC to both be in the “normal” range for the first time in twenty years. I don’t know if the zinc made the difference, but I have chosen to believe that it did. I will continue with this supplement and hope that the results will be the same next year.

I like this product for my dog. I take a pair of pliers and crush a 15mg tablet a day in the dogs food. This keeps all the brown dirty gunk from forming in her eyes and producing “dirty eyes”. The only other product on the market for this is called “Angel Eyes”. But who would had thought that a tablet of zinc a day, keeps the dirty eyes away! Try it on your dog and see. I personally take two 15mg tablets with 2 eye dropers of liquid saw palmetto in the morning and two 15mg tablets of zinc and two tablets of kelp before bedtime to control prostrate issues. Over all I like this product. The 15mg tablet is just right size for the dogs morning meal for their eyes and I take 4 a day for prostrate issues. Both dogs and I are doing well.

I purchased this brand a couple of times now and have been very disappointed that the amount of pills in the bottle barely covers the bottom of it. The bottle is about 3 inches tall and the pills might be 1/4 of an inch inside of it. What a waste of resources. They could sell these in a larger quantity, possibly 3x as many pills and STILL cut the bottle’s size down to half. What a waste.
One reviewer said she counted them from two different bottles and there was only 98 pills, instead of 100. Evidently they also need to fix the counting process.
I chose this product for the type of zinc and dosage being more appropriate for our needs.
