This is a really gentle exfoliating cleanser and even though it’s gentle, I only use this maybe 2 or 3 times a week depending on how rough my skin is feeling. It’s a beautiful shade of green and has a minty, earthy, rosemary scent that is a bit strong. I don’t mind the scent but I can see how it might not be for everyone. It does go away soon after washing it off and doesn’t irritate my skin. It can feel a bit drying if I use this too often which is why I don’t use it daily, even though my skin is oily to combination. I’ve noticed it makes my face feel smoother and softer. I’m hoping this helps with diminishing the whiteheads I get often but only more time will tell. This will last me a good while since I have to limit how often I use this but I’m pretty happy with it. I do really like the minimal pretty bottle, it is plastic though and not glass.

The smell of this was not offputting to me. I did notice it but it was pretty light and the scent did not linger on my face at all. If you’re having issues with the scent, to properly use any face-wash, I lather it in my hands first before cleansing my face. I found it to be much less noticeable after lathering it. I used one pump and it was enough to clean my whole face and then some. It left my face feeling clean but not overly stripped. It actually has salicylic acid in it, which is good for my acne-prone skin. I think this will be a cleanser I will cycle through.

This is keeping my skin CLEAR. Ever since switching to Korean skincare I’ve seen a huge improvement in my skin. I don’t notice the scent anymore, maybe I’ve gone nose blind? This cleanser is amazing.

I have oily skin — always have and always will. So while others may be looking for moisture, I’m looking for something that will make me feel fresh and squeaky clean.
I have to say I have been using this for two weeks now and I am LOVING it! The glass container comes packed in a nice box that lists all the bells and whistles (and ingredients), but the cleanser itself only has a simple label on the front. I kind of wish the ingredients were printed there too, because I definitely am a weird person who reads things like that while showering… but can’t hold that against them.
The cleanser comes out as a gel and is green in color. One of my favorite things is the smell — it’s herbal and yet pleasantly medicinal? I’m not sure why, but it smells to me like the clean you get at a sterile doctor’s office or in a dentist’s office. I like it because it makes me think, “My skin is about to be super clean.”
And it is! I’ve used this in conjunction with my silicone scrubber, and after a thorough scrub and rinse my skin feels clean but not dry. I haven’t had any unusual breakouts or reactions from the product, and it may have even reduced the amount of acne I normally have. I’ll be using this ’til the last drop!

If you are not a rosemary lover, this product is not for you! The smell remains for a long time and is felt. Foams well, slightly tugs on the skin (not for dry skin).

Overall, I like this. It gets my face clean and doesn’t leave it feeling dried out. There are mostly good ingredients but there’s a couple I don’t much like. The scent is good and mild, kind of like a wild mint – minty with a bit of a green leafy scent that doesn’t linger. It lathers well and rinses pretty easily.
There are a lot of great ingredients, but a couple I don’t much like. The top cleansing agent is a bit harsher than I like to use on my skin. The rosemary extract is great, but the rosemary oil… not so much. It’s a good antioxidant but can be harsh and is typically used for scent. So far it hasn’t irritated my skin and I plan to keep using it as long as it doesn’t make my rosacea flare.
Overall, I like it. I would recommend it unless you have especially sensitive skin, in which case I’d send you towards a more gentle cleanser. I’m adding photos that my ingredient checker managed to read ok. I don’t much like the trend of light writing on a light package, since some of us really need to see those ingredients.

Does it help my skin? Nothing I’ve noticed
Beyond that, the biggest thing is I cannot get passed the smell.
It smells like what I imagine those green, kale filled smoothies smell like.
I suppose if you like that kind of smell it could be worth a shot, but for me the smell actually makes me a bit sick

I’ve been suffering from the worst breakout I’ve ever experienced on my cheeks/around my nose area. My skin is combo, leaning on the drier side. This cleanser did not break me out, feels so refreshing, and seems to be calming my skin down. A little goes a long way, I see this bottle lasting me months. Only thing is that the scent is VERY strong- straightup rosemary, herbal-y scent. It doesn’t bother me, in fact I find it calming because I like these nature-y scents, but be advised !! Otherwise, I’d 11/10 recommend you try it.
