Powders in bags are (almost) always messy when taking some out, but this Gotu Kola brand has two bags, so one can hold the power while the outside bag helps keep it fresh. I refrigerate; and for this power I transfer 1/3 to a bottle which I use every day.

I really like this health company, Just Jaivik. Their products are of very good, potent, uniform quality, their prices are extremely fair, their products are delicious and certified organic, and their practices appear completely legitimate. On the package, it says that it’s packed, marketed, and exported by Herbs & Crops Overseas, there is a certification number, and just about everything about them is totally transparent. All of that information is tremendously important when it comes to foods, herbs, drinks, supplements, and anything else we consume for our health.
The only thing I dislike is the fact that there is no dosage recommendation whatsoever, on any of these packages. Sure, you can probably use your common sense, and most likely you will benefit rather than have any negative side effects. But this is the type of important health product where the consumers need to be given some kind of guidance on how to use it.
You can email or call them, go to their website, and follow them on facebook and instagram. But I don’t think every customer should have to contact a company just for the most basic information and guidance on its use.

This organic gotu kola powder is a fluffy, soft fine brownish powder that smells just like the average herbal leaf. It doesn’t taste bad or overly strong, and can easily be mixed into smoothies, coffee, tea, soup, etc. Taste is really important when taking these types of ayurvedic powders, because it’s a huge part of the digestion and healing process. But to make it easier for me and my parents, I make many supplement capsules to make sure doses are not missed.

I bought this as an alternative to Bacopa monnieri. It shares many of the same properties around increasing memory and cognition it appears, but doesn’t induce sedation like Bacopa does. The price isn’t fantastic, as it requires about 2.5g to 5g a day to be effective, so I hope this company in the future offers this in bulk to drive down the price! However, this seller currently sells the cheapest, best quality one of what’s available on Amazon

It’s well packaged, in two bags, inside sealed and the sealed outside but with zip closure – imo, well done.
So, this is far more economical than tablet form and am fine with two 1/2 tsp a day vs same amount +- in tablet form. And, this is certified organic.
It’s a product of India which makes sense to me – with all the other ayurvedic’s from there.
This is a rare occasion from me, 5 star, and as if this purchase in this point in time can recommend it to someone else.
