Love this face mist – it feels hydrating and refreshing as-is, and is decent at setting my makeup for the day (I don’t think this is great for long wear for events, but it fits the purpose of my light makeup to work). However, I wanted to bring this in my carryon for travel (I was traveling light and not planning on a checked bag) and I was hopeful I could transfer some of it in a smaller spray bottle, but it’s the type where the spray nozzle is locked in and I can’t open it without permanently popping the entire nozzle off. I was so bummed, because this has become a part of my basic bare minimum “no makeup makeup” for going out. I know they have a smaller bottle, but I just wanted a “weekender” amount and the smaller bottle is still way too much, especially if I don’t want to carry a purse.

JSM is a very familiar brand to any of Korean beauty fans since she has been the top makeup artist in Korean show business scene. I love most of her makeup products (not all though), and this brand has superb quality product for glow, sheer makeup products. This mist is another holy-grail and let me tell you why.
Ingredients:
The base is onsen sui – natural spring water from it used 1,2 hexanediol as preservative, humectants and solvent. After few list of other conventional solvents, I could see hydrolyzed pear, saccharomyces ferment filtrate, many extracts and some humectants along with diphenyl dimethicone in the later on the formula. It’s a fitting mist – so practically a makeup fixer + hydrating mist. It also uses additional preservative as phenoxyethanol (which is very common one for past decade). I cannot say this is 100% green but it is very clean compared to other makeup products. It doesn’t contain common humectants like HA, but it’s understandable since this is designed to be used as makeup finisher or glow fixer.
Texture:
It provides just-right hydration and satin-mattifying kind of texture. You can feel your inner skin is hydrated but at the same time it holds makeup tight. I cannot say it’s a refreshing type of mist but it surely keeps the makeup in place and hydrate the skin very well.
Functionality:
I can see it prolongs the freshness of the makeup longer definitely, and makes skin more hydrated under the heater.
Overall:
It’s a great makeup fixer and makes your skin look more glow and radiant after makeup. If you like glow, radiant type of makeup then it’s a great product to add on your makeup routine. If you like mattifying makeup, this mist will make your makeup look a lot more natural. Further, just like many other Korean products, it has an amazing container. This mist is in the non-gas type of container but it still eject super fine mist on the face. GREAT, highly recommended!!

I love this mist. I don’t know if this part is placebo, but I almost feel like it helps my makeup settle better into my skin, creating a more natural effect after foundation and powder. It definitely keeps my makeup in place all day, rain or shine, and trust me—I’ve put it through the wringer. Texas is known for some of the hottest summer days, as well as flooding when it rains. I’ve experienced both with this spray, and it keeps my makeup looking flawless even when the rest of me looks a mess.
What I really love is how light it feels on my skin. I’ve tried setting sprays that leave a sticky film, almost like you sprayed hairspray on your face to lock everything in. But with this one, it’s different. It’s just a refreshing mist, and then it feels like nothing’s there. Just pure, fresh skin.
I’ve tried various face mists and setting sprays over the years, and I’ve never found one quite like this. In the past, when I loved a setting spray, it would keep my makeup in place but wouldn’t make it look more natural. And if I found a nice mist that made my foundation look natural, my makeup would be nearly wiped clean by the end of the day. However, this is the only mist that has done both for me! I’d highly recommend it.

It’s a great alternative if you have sensitive skin. I usually like the MILK Hydro spray, but it always stings my skin. When switching this one, it works very similar without the sting. Great alternative for the price.

So I didn’t like it much when I first used it. It didn’t do much for me and felt a bit sticky yet moist. However I looked up some videos, and found the best way to use this is actually before applying your makeup, rather than after. So I tried it out, and it was the best thing ever. The foundation settles better, no stickiness, and my makeup stays for hours! And the price isn’t bad, because even with a lot of sprays, there is still A LOT left! I highly recommend.

So far, so good. give nice sheen to the skin and feels great.
But it does have rather strong fragrance smell.

Jung Saem Mool is one of most famous Korean makeup artists and I’ve been to her studio while I was in Korea and am a fan of her! All her products are amazing and I personally use this finish spray after makeup.

I really enjoyed using this, both for the product and the bottle. I find that a lot of times, these companies forget the actual delivery method for spray toners/essences and use really cheap spray mechanisms that are harsh. This bottle has a mister on it that is super gentle and disperses the product really well across your face, which I definitely appreciated. The formula is nice and hydrating and a great skin prep for your makeup.
