The moisturiser has a pleasant smell upon application but this smell vanishes quickly to be replaced by the unpleasant smell of an unwashed skin. In addition, it made my skin look shinny and it is now congested. This is NOT an Oil Free Moisturiser. Very disappointed indeed!………

Healthy, fast absorbing, clean and doesn’t turn me into a ghost and isn’t greasy. This is the best sunscreen I have ever tried and I tried a lot.
It’s not oily or moisturizing (it has matte finish) so I recommend putting a moisturizer before. It has a strong scent but I don’t mind it tbh as long as it’s clean and protect my face. I love this sunscreen!!!!

I have olive skin so it does take extra time to rub in the cream so that it fades into my skin. I decided to put it on an hour before I leave the house so that it does begin to absorb and when I rub it in closer to when I am leaving it fades in much easier.
This product feels like it is really protecting your skin and is much more waterproof than other sun creen moisturizers I have used, because even to wash it off my hands takes time with soap.
I bought it because of the recommendation of EWG
I was fine with the smell and the moisturizing quality was ok for me as I use another moisturizer at night so this for the day was fine.
Something I could not understand however is the instruction to shake or knead the tube before using. The cream is not of the consistency to shake and the tube is very full so kneading is not possible until maybe half used. I would hope Juice Beauty would be able to guarantee that the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout.

I purchased this after reading about it on a health-related blog and seeing the EWG report — I try to stick to natural products for my skin care and food and have been having trouble finding summer skin products I’m happy with. Since it was marketed as a moisturizer, rather than just a sunscreen, I was hoping I could put it on in the morning before makeup to take the place of my normal (not-so-natural) day moisturizer. No go. This stuff is so thick and greasy I find I only want to use it when I know I’ll be out in the sun for a long time — and believe me, I don’t want to be more reluctant about sunscreen than I already am. I’m fair-skinned, so the white sheen isn’t as much of an issue for me, but, man, the grease! I have to use about six blotting papers after I apply it, and it still tends to sit in my pores and cause little white dots. Like most natural sunscreens, you have to apply it every two hours (and wait half an hour before going out in the sun — not much of a window!), but I rarely want to reapply unless I feel I’m burning — especially if I’m wearing makeup, and especially not without a mirror! If this were a ten-dollar product I could forgive these drawbacks as just the nature of natural sunscreen, but at $29 I need a reason that this is better than, say, my $10 tube of Alba Botanicals (which also got a great EWG rating). It’s certainly not doing anything for my skin than AB doesn’t.

It took me a while to settle on this. I had a very strict criteria I was looking for. My skin was very dry but I had to use something oil free. I also wanted something all natural/organic if possible. This product fit that bill, using organic ingredients and non nano zinc oxide as an active ingredient. I have used it in the sun and it definitely works, with spf 30. It is not super smooth when you rub it in and does not absorb like other moisturizers do, but this way you’ll know your face is being protected. As far as moisturizing, these ingredients are great for your skin as far as I can tell, but if you have super dry skin, you may want to think about using a moisturizer before this because zinc oxide can be drying. It is a small bottle, but I’ve learned that it actually lasts quite a while because you don’t need that much for your face. I know this is expensive for a face moisturizer/sunscreen, but I’ve looked, and I don’t think there’s really anything else like it out there.

I’m not recommending this product for dry , combination or mature skin , it’s doesn’t work for Florida, this product probably for oily skin

I tend to think of this more as a hydrating sunscreen, than a moisturizer that has SPF in it. Because it’s oil-free, it’s not super moisturizing, but it is hydrating (It has several good humectant ingredients for increasing hydration, like aloe, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol.)
It is a bit thick and takes some time to spread over skin — this is due to the non-nano zinc oxide, which is my sunscreen ingredient of choice for my sensitive rosacea-prone skin. It will leave a white cast, as all non-nano zinc oxide creams do. Because my skin is fair, it’s not noticeable, but it may stand out on deeper skin tones FYI.
If you have really dry skin, you may want to layer a moisturizer or serum underneath. This is the only day cream I need in the summer on my combination skin, but in the winter I use this as a top sunscreen layer over another moisturizer. This has really increased the health of my skin, and is one of the few mineral sunscreen moisturizers that doesn’t clog my pores.

I give this moisturizer three stars because I think it is probably high quality; it just didn’t work for me. I have been using the moisturizer without the sunscreen for a long time, and it is fabulous, but my skin did not react well to the sunscreen formula. When I applied it, my face burned and turned red immediately. It also peeled after a couple of days, almost as if I had been sunburned! (I had not, it wasn’t even sunny on the day I tried it!) The main reason I wanted to review this is for others who might be using the moisturizer already, like me, and are thinking that this will be the same thing, except with sun protection – it’s not. That doesn’t mean it might not work for you; it just didn’t work for me.
Also, it is tinted (as are pretty much all sunscreens containing zinc oxide). This wasn’t a problem for me, as I have a fair complexion, but for those of you with darker olives or browns in your coloring, it might leave an off-white cast.
