I can always rely on Josie Maran products to deliver what they promise. Josie Maran Micro Milk Accelerated Renewal Drops is the perfect serum to add to my morning skin care routine. I apply it after my regular vitamin C to amp up skin brightening. The kojic acid in this addresses hyperpigmentation and this is the perfect time of year for me to repair any unintentional sun damage from summer. Lactic acid is the absolute best gentle exfoliator for a morning glow. Love it!!
This is a pale yellow serum, milky in consistency, and it spreads easily. The scent is unusual, because I can smell the mixture of lactic acid with pineapple extract. I do not find it objectionable at all because I am used to using products with lactic acid and the benefits are worth any unusual scent! Aside from immediate radiance, I am looking forward to gradual fading of hyperpigmentation over time. Lovely product to boost my morning routine with solid anti-aging ingredients. Highly recommend!

This product was much darker than what I bought previously. It smelled stronger too. I think I received a bottle of old product. I will be more cautious about purchasing Josie Maran products from Amazon that are marked down to half price.

softens my skin really well! i love the ingredients bc i’m struggling uneven skin and dark spots so i’m hoping this will help with those issues. so far my complexion looks more radiant and softened, will update once i see differences in my hyperpigmentation.

I think this is supposed to perform kind of like an essence, that you lay down before you apply the rest of your skincare to kind of “enhance” the rest of your steps. I just felt like this didn’t perform the way typical essence’s do and I couldn’t make myself like it. So this may have been user error, but the product felt a little too thick, too fragranced, and just did not mesh with my skincare routine. It didn’t really make a difference in my actual skincare, or the longevity of my base/makeup, so ultimately I stopped using this after a couple weeks and literally saw no difference before or after. I don’t know, it just felt like a product that the market makes just for the sake of making a new product.

I really like this serum. It consists of ingredients that are high in antioxidants and lipids such as argan oil, jojoba, and pineapple extract. It also contains niacinamide and kojic acid, which inhibits the production of melanin, evening out skin tone. Even though this is unscented, it has a clean, fresh, almost nutty odor. I find it to be soothing.
This comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a pump. There is a batch number, but there is no best by date. I would prefer to have a best by date so that I don’t accidentally use something that isn’t fresh on my skin. If in doubt, I let my nose be my guide and won’t use anything that smells off.
I like to use this product like a serum, but it can be mixed into moisturizer to provide an added boost. My skin seems to respond well to this. It absorbs easily and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and well-moisturized.

This is a facial serum. It is light on the skin and does a good job smoothing. It has a very odd smell…like yeast crossed with sulfur. I find it unpleasant. What’s worse is that after it dries and you put a day cream over it, the smell reconstitutes and comes back again.
I am not so much scent sensitive as scent picky and I really don’t like the smell of this. It’s quite nice on dry skin and does layer just fine. It’s a winner if the smell doesn’t bother you.

This product makes my skin feel so smooth and adds an extra layer of moisture before makeup. I have sensitive skin but this hasn’t broken my skin out. The price point is fair for this product and I will continue to use it.

Jose Maran Micro Milk Renewal drops arrived two hours before I left for the airport on vacation. I put it into my suitcase and used it for the twelve days I was away. I like all the natural and safe ingredients. The drops were very hydrating and left my skin smooth and soft. The pump works well and I can use the 2 drops alone or mix with other facial serums or moisturizers. It has a strange scent, that does tend to linger, but nothing that bothered me. Packaged beautifully.
