This lip balm ticked off all the right boxes for me.
My lips tend to dry out pretty easily, and most color balms that promise to keep them moisturized, don’t. It took about 5 hours upon first wear (with no re-application) for the color to mostly fade away. But even at that time, my lips didn’t feel more dried out or looked oddly cracked. My lips still felt moisturized and quite soft! I was pretty happy with that, and that pretty much sold me to now keep it on-hand for when my lips need a little hydration and color (especially while running errands).
random things of note:
-the cap needs to be pulled off 😅 I twisted it a few times before I finally gave it a good yank and voila! so just in case anyone is like me, now you know 🙂
-I was honestly more focused on the hydration and color coverage to really pay attention to the plumping effect. BUT. I did feel that cool/menthol-y-esque sensation upon application, so I’m sure that’s related to it~
-formula is pretty supple, so you don’t need more than one swipe for payoff. that + heat seems to make the balm more delicate/fragile-ish, so be careful when handling it. I accidentally put a dent in it when I missed the cap a bit 😅
-I’m not familiar with the brand, but I think the pricing is quite fair for the product. Especially since comparable color balm options are relatively around the same price, if not more.

Holy pigment! For a balm, I thought the color was going to be more sheer, a wash or tint but it’s surprisingly more creamy and buildable. The formula is somewhere between a regular lip balm and a melting gloss balm, with a bit of a cooling menthol plumping sensation. That’s the only part of this balm I’m not a huge fan of, but it’s also very minor and does not last long. The shade on me pulls more orange but still looks very natural and cute. I really like how hydrating it feels and even after it wears off, my lips don’t feel dry and it leaves a lovely tint behind. I’m definitely getting this in another shade.
Honest and Real –
Few things, firstly the color shade depiction on the box does not match the product but the swatch on the actual lip tube is pretty spot on. (See photo)
You can’t see the tube while it’s in the box though so that could be an issue for some who are expecting “Marsala” to look like the like pink shade underneath the text on the box that appears to be a typical color swatch. The shade is pretty close to the wine-rose color shown on the tube cap.
Next, the color is a little too pigmented for my liking straight from the stick, but if I wipe a little off by blending it out with a fingertip, I actually really like it. It’s more natural shade than I think the box swatch would’ve been, so that’s nice .
The formula is a pretty satisfying mix of lipstick, gloss and balm in one. It glides on so quickly & smoothly.
Lastly, and The BEST part, is that there is a definite plumping action, but it’s NOT painful at all like others can be. There is no fire or stinging sensation. It’s more of a cooling sensation, but not unpleasant. The plumping isn’t as effective obviously, since the more trauma that is caused, the more swelling and blood flow reaction, but there is a bit of a plumping effect.

Coming to the point about did I like it? then yes… but I have few points to say… it is not something that you can’t find in drugstore at a good price point I mean if I compare lip balms with a plumping effect then there are so many great options at drugstore under $10 which gives great visible results.
This balm plumper is nice in terms that it feels really cool and soothing when I apply and gives that instant glossiness to the lips but as the time passes it makes my lips a little more dry and I need my basic lip balm to wipe off the after effects of this lip balm plumper.
I would not say don’t buy but look for great options elsewhere under some great differentiating price point!

I love this lip plumper in the shade Marsala. I love that it gives me a bee-stung look without looking unnatural. It is a beautiful shade that looks natural, but very beautiful. I have medium complexion and it gives me a soft rosy color. My lips tends to get dry and this lip plumper really hydrates and moisturizes my lips. The texture is really nice and it’s sheer so it just looks gorgeous on my lips. It has a bit of a plumping effect so my lips look nice and plump. It feels nice on the lips and doesn’t dry it out or irritate my lips at all. I recommend this beautiful lip plumper.

The Marsala shade of the Jealousy Plumer lip balm is a pretty shade of orangey red with a hint of brown. The box and container are confusing and don’t show the color match. The swatch on the box is a mauve pink, and the container is red. But maybe all the tube colors are red in the collection. The color on the top of the tube is a closer match to the actual lipstick.
There is a slight tingly sensation when I put it on and my lips feel a little plumper but it’s not a long-lasting sensation. The key element is that it’s moisturizing and not drying. The lipstick is richly colored, especially for a balm. I like how it looks on my skin tone. It’s different than my go-to pink/mauve shades that I usually use every day. This style of lipstick is nice and versatile because it’s sheer yet still pigmented. It’s a good way to do a red lip that isn’t too bright and overpowering.
