This supplement contains vitamins and minerals aimed at eye health. The combination of ingredients seems quite good and I feel that this is a good product. However, I am not sure if this is a vegetarian product or not. The bottle does not claim that it is. The one questionable ingredient is n-acetyl-l-cysteine and the label does not state whether it is derived from an animal or plant-based form of L-cysteine.

Lots of good vitamins and minerals packed into these capsules. Recommended dose is 2 capsules per day. If you’re not sure about taking supplements check with your doctor.

This eye supplement is easy to swallow and tasteless. It has a great combination of vitamin and great amount of lutein. Well-packaged. Overall, great supplement.

My wife works for an eye specialist and I have heard talk of this formula many times before. I have never had any issues with my eyes and i would like to keep it that way. So i have been taking this to as a precautionary supplement. They are easy to swallow and do not leave a bad aftertaste.

I tried this AREDS 2 eye health supplement for over a week and can say that it not only provides noticeable benefits to my eyes, but also a lasting benefit. I’ve tried some eye health supplements that seem to work for the first few days or even week, but then my body adjusts and the benefits disappear, but this supplement seems to keep providing benefit even after the initial period.
The eye health supplement includes ingredients identified in AREDS 2 and also a few others to provide a more comprehensive eye health supplement. I found that unlike a supplement that contains just AREDS 2 ingredients, this supplement also seemed to help with dry eyes and eye fatigue to some extent.
The supplement is a brown powder in an average size (for a supplement) cellulose capsule that I found easy enough to swallow, but if you have trouble with swallowing other supplements, YMMV. The capsules are in a white plastic bottle with a plastic screw on lid that should keep the supplement fresh and protected from light. The font on the nutrition label is a bit small, so if you are taking this supplement because you need some assistance with eye health, the irony is that you won’t be able to read the label without glasses or a magnifying glass (that said, I’ve seen much smaller recently and I find it annoying). There is a lot number and expiration date printed on the label of the bottle.

Got these right before seeing my optometrist. He gave them the okay for what they contained however he also said they are formulated for specific eye conditions which No one in my house has. I got them for the variety of supplements in one capsule so I could reduce load I take in one day. These work well, no after taste, easy to swallow and all in all lot of caps for money.

My eye doctor recommended I start taking supplements to slow down macular degeneration and he sold me the mainstream brand which cost almost $90 for a 3-month supply. These cost about a third of that and have a similar formulation based on the AREDS 2 study. So I am assuming they are as effective as the ones my eye doctor sold me, but at a fraction of the cost. Only time will tell if they are effective as slowing my macular degeneration…

And with this 3-bottle purchase you’ll be covered for 90 days. JB Wellness it seems as indicated on this Amazon listing is a small business and its product label states they provide premium quality ingredients that are responsibly sourced. My bottle shows a product expiration, as of this writing to be 22 months. I find it interesting that ordering nutritional supplements from different brands and companies, are varied in terms of detailed company information on the product description page. As of this time, although the label on this product and this Amazon product listing does not detail the product’s company information, certification or high standards, I noticed another of their product listing states that it is made in the USA, in a FDA registered facility, and uses Non-GMO ingredients. With that in mind, I feel this AREDS2 is an extensive nutritional formulation to support eye and vision health. So, if you’re looking to support your eye health, compare and decide yourself if this value-added formulation which can last you 90 days vs a name brand formulation which can last you 120 days and the price is best for you. I like this formulation.
