The ingredient list is pretty simple. Not sure if I’ve seen results just yet. According to the bottle, this is not meant to be used for an extended period of time.

This is my first experience with Japanese Knotwood. It contains Resveratrol and Bioflavoids, which is said to protection from tick-related issues.
This seems like a quality product because of the following:
1. With the high Reservatrol content, it is also a powerful antioxidant that also is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antivirals so beneficial for more than tick-related issues.
2. Being non-GMO, vegan, and free of gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, tree nut, and shellfish makes it suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences and restrictions.
3. These are certified organic, manufactured in the USA, third-party tested, and certified in a GMP facility.
I can’t say that I’ve had any positive or negative side effects from these capsules, but supplements often have subtle effects and take time to be most effective. (For best results, the company recommends taking this daily for three months.) I’ll update this review if anything changes.

So I was interested in taking this supplement to focus on optimizing pure resveratrol, as knotweed is supposed to be more efficient than other sources, like red grapes. The bottle label mentions “tick wellness support,” and ticks are not a concern for me, but they might be for others.
Each capsule contains 400 mg of organic polygonum cuspidatum root (aka Japanese knotweed), which is a rich source of resveratrol. The manufacturer cites a serving size of 2 capsules per day (I take only one), and there are 120 capsules in the bottle. There’s no particular odor nor aftertaste, which is great. I’ve taken it without issue.
This is an herb I want to take on a daily basis, and this product seems like an excellent source for it. Taken over time, the price seems reasonable, as well.

In my search for other sources of resveratrol other than red wine I discovered Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum Cuspidatum) which is a very good rich source of resveratrol. This supplement contains 800mg (400mg per capsule) which is good enough for my needs. I read that taking one 500 mg capsule twice daily is beneficial for anti-aging and skincare so this should be close enough. There are a host of benefits from resveratrol but this one is marketed for Tick Wellness. My wife and I first started taking it for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits but all the better if it protects us against Tick born micro-organisms too. It’s organic, made in the USA, GMP certified, and 3rd party tested. These are all signs of a good quality supplement but the price is a little higher than some other options out there.

I appreciate it was delivered promptly and seems to be what it was described to be, but I’ve only taken it for about a week so I don’t know for sure if it’s doing what I got it for which was anti- inflamation.
Though I am improving I can’t say for sure if this product has helped, it is not hurting me so I’ll keep taking it.
