I’m more of a Chapstick than a lipstick girl, but now all I use is this. My lips don’t get dry or flaky. I think it lasts longer than Chapstick or Blistex with the added benefit of a hint of color.

Update: confirmed it is not a changed formula. The company is sending out replacements directly. This is a seller issue. Be wary of this issue and consider buying directly from the manufacturer. 5 starts to jane irredale for customer service, but 1 star to this listing for the poor quality.
Clearly this is a changed formula for crush, my favorite color and lip prroduct. In this updated formula, it appears that pigment was left out. What a disappointment. I noticed a lot of reviews on the brand website about fan favorite products getting formula changes and customers are not pleased. Seems like a surefire way to go out of business. Certainly won’t be purchasing this again which is sad because I adored this product. However, I can spend way less on CVS lip balm if I wanted it to have no pigment. Kinda pissed.
Tease isn’t as bad, but it is absolutely lighter in pigment. Just not quite as noticeable because of how dark it is to begin with.

it’s very nice, almost a stain and hydrating, but expensive for what it is and the crush color is a little 80’s purple-y, at least on me. it’s also hard to open the cap. I might try another color cause it’s really hard to find a *good* spf tinted balm that doesn’t test on animals. i like Neutrogena, but they test on animals, so trying to find a replacement. this is the best option ive found so far. I definitely like the smell!
update: tried the buff color and it is super neutral, not much color to it, but it goes with anything and everything so that’s a plus. still expensive fir what it is.

My favourite lip balm ever and I have tried so many different ones. I hope this never gets discontinued. Smells good, hydrates perfectly.

Overall, this is one of the better SPF chapsticks I’ve used because it doesn’t make your lips dryer and force you to reapply it to restore moisture. It also has a nice light lemony smell.
That said I do have some notes- it does pill up (at least on me) which can look like dead skin on your lips, it also has bit of a white cast on me so I imagine on folks with any more pigment than I have it would be more prominent, and being only 15 SPF means you do have to reapply it more often to maintain protection.

I have been using Jane iredale lip drink for several years. It is by far my favorite lip stick. I use the Jane Iredale lip liner as well. I like that it has spf in it too.
