With these being actual stones of some kind, They were very cooling when placed on the face over the eyes, making them great for depuffing. They are flexible and form fitting to whatever your face shape and are very big, making for full coverage. I liked these in general, and found them interesting, but I’d prefer it without the beats on the border.

I ordered this LazyGa Natural Jade Eye Mask (Light Green) as soon as I saw it, because I’d always wanted to try one. I have other types of cooling and/or heated eye masks, but none made completely of natural gemstones. (And since I can’t afford one of those amazing, but uncomfortable looking, jade pillows I’ve seen on my C-dramas, I’ll have to settle for at least a jade eye mask to encourage dreaming while relaxing with this on. Each piece has even been rounded on each edge, so there aren’t any sharp corners (except maybe for a couple spots that were also smoothed down but could do with a bit more filing down). It’s all woven together with some kind of maybe plastic cording, and even the round crystals on the border look like real quartz. It was even going for a great price at the time I picked it for review; I always do price comparisons, and this would’ve cost way more if I’d ordered it from my usual budget-friendly sites. So I’m pretty happy to add this to my collection. (I think I’ll sew an embroidered pouch to keep it in, to keep it from getting scratched up.) It feel nice & cool when I first put it on my eyes, though it does warm up with body heat. The paper wrap it came in has a birthday greeting, so that’s great if you’ll give it as gift, or just toss that & put it in a silk or satin pouch, or gift box, to make it even more luxe looking.

The pink quartz mask seemed well made, at first. Heavy, smooth, no gaps. The green one seemed cheaper, not as heavy, and gaps in between the stones. But I dropped the pink mask on carpet from counter height, and it busted! They are BOTH cheaply made. Shame because they did feel nice on the eyes (well the pink one did). But the fact that the string broke so easily makes me say it’s not worth buying. Don’t be cheap. But the more expensive ones, and buy them separately!

Overall, I like this mask, but it has two drawbacks. It’s got a nice weight to it, not too heavy but some weight so that you can feel the coolness when it’s on your face. The drawbacks are that (1) it does not come with any instructions – I guess you just put it on your face? Some instructions may have been helpful (ie, recommend to use it 10 minutes every day or twice a day, something like that). Especially if you wanted to give this as a gift, the gift recipient may be very confused. Second drawback – there is no cord or elastic to keep it in place. It’s not like you’d be walking around with this, but even when lying down some shifting occurs and this does not stay in place. I’ll probably add a ribbon or elastic to mine, just to keep it loosely in place.

Lasting cool from stone unlike fabric products, but lays awkwardly over eyes. There’s weird light pinching that I don’t seem to be able to adjust away when pressing against skin around my eyes.
Note: there’s no fastener on this. It’s just the semi-flat front piece you see in the product picture.

Honestly I use this mask every night, before I go to bed. I have another one which is lavender, I use it for my clients, they really helping you to calm down, remove stress from your eyes. Love them.

They have a nice weight to them. Facial clients find them comfortable and calming.
