I really enjoy using IsNtree products. Their Green Tea Cleanser cleans my face efficiently by not over drying it, and leaving my face feeling nice and clean. It foams up just the right amount. A little goes a long way which is great on my pocket book. The fragrance is nice and mild.

nice gentle cleanser – gets my make up off in one rinse & doesn’t feel stripping at all. The mild green tea scent smells good too

It’s a nice feeling cleanser, and always makes me feel clean at the end. It has a mild “tea” scent that for me, hovers between weird and pleasant. There are small chunks of leaves in it so be careful to not scratch your face with them. In terms of effectiveness, it does the job in terms of getting rid of oil from the face, however it does leave the skin feeling tight which is my one complaint. Otherwise, the small tube will last you a while as just a tiny amount will foam up to many times its size (I usually only need half a pea sized for a good coverage). It has not broken me out despite having very acne-prone skin.

Okay background: I have dehydrated, congested, combo, acne-prone skin that is super sensitive. (Thanks genetics lol) This means that I need to cleanse thoroughly because my pores get clogged at ridiculous speeds, but also that my skin gets stripped of oil and moisture easily and cannot rehydrate. End result with many cleansers: I have dry, tight skin that gets dull and red throughout the day even though I use multiple hydrating toners and moisturizers.
I’ve tried tons of drugstore and higher end *and* other k-beauty cleansers but they all either stripped my skin or broke me out. Enter this Isntree cleanser. It is *chef’s kiss* imo. First off, it’s very light but still foams up when you use it. It cleanses just the perfect amount to leave your skin feeling refreshed without being irritated. It has a very, very light scent of tea and the gel itself is a medium chestnut-brown color. I personally find it very elegant.
There is ONE issue that I think some people might have and that is the addition of dried tea leaves. Personally, my skin has so much turnover and I don’t press hard so it doesn’t bother my skin. But if you are very sensitive to physical exfoliation you might want to look elsewhere.
All in all I would repurchase this and it’s become my preferred cleanser. Edited for typo.

i want this to be a holy grail but i’m not sure yet. At first i thought it was a little drying but now that i’ve adjusted i realized the micro green tea leaves can be a bit abrasive. I love the matcha scent. I am usually sensitive to fragrance but this isn’t fragranced it just has real tea as an ingredients. I wish they made a body wash version.

i double cleanse with this in the mornings and it’s wonderful. it has a lot more slip compared to other cleansers that i’ve tried but it foams nicely and it doesn’t drag on the face. it’s not stripping, calms my skin down and cleans the pores on my nose well but DON’T expect this to clear acne (i use a salicylic acid cleanser for that), it’s more of a basic cleanser

I have insanely acne prone skin. I used to have cystic acne until I started spironolactone, so anything can set my skin off on a rampage. This stuff is nice. It’s gentle, it gets all the oil and makeup off, it’s not drying, and best of all, it didn’t break me out. I use it with the matching toner and emulsion and my skin looks pretty good. The emulsion is not a replacement for moisturizer. Maybe as a very light moisturizer, but I still need a thicker one over it because I get flakey. And you know flakies under makeup is among the worst looks. Give it a try. It’s not an expensive line, it’s Korean, so you know it’s good, and it works.
