I needed an iron supplement because my current multivitamin doesn’t offer enough. I got these but I don’t feel comfortable talking them until a talk to my doctor. They are very magnetic and I know some people’s reaction will be well duh it’s iron but after researching it and testing my other iron supplements which are not magnetic I find the information available on the subject conflicting. Most medical advice indicates that iron supplements should not be magnetic so until I get a clear answer from my doctor I can’t recommend these.

My daughter sometimes experiences problems with low iron. She’s a regular blood donor, so she tries to maintain a good iron level so she will be eligible every 6-8 weeks for donating. Taking iron tablets give her an iron boost, but she also has to be careful with them. She has to take them with food as they make her nauseous if she doesn’t, and sometimes that isn’t even enough to prevent the nausea. I hoped she wouldn’t have that problem with the Celestrue Iron Supplement, it claimed to be gentle on your system. It also contains Vitamin C, which she could also use to boost her immunity.
She did have good results with Celestrue Iron Supplement. She said they were easy to swallow and had no strong smell or taste. They proved to be gentler on the stomach than other iron pills, but she still tolerated them better when she took them with food. She delayed eating a few times with this iron pill and still got queasy, but it took longer to reach that point and it wasn’t as strong. She felt like they did as well as other iron supplements- but with the benefit of being gentler on the stomach.
The true test though was how her donor eligibility would be. She went in today and was accepted as a donor. They won’t allow you to give if your iron is below their posted level, and that level is actually higher than what is considered “low iron”.
I believe this is a good iron supplement, especially for those with sensitive systems.

I’m trying to increase my iron intake and decided on these pills. I haven’t done a doctor’s check up yet, but it seems to work physically. Follow the instructions and you should be good. Tastes funny at first, but it goes away fast.
