I admit I love clay masks. There is just something I like as it dries on my face and feels tight and then rinsing off and feeling so smooth. Gillian Clay mask does just that. It comes with a little applicator spatula that helps get it on smooth and even. Let it dry for about 5-10 minutes and then rinse off.
They claim you can use this daily. I don’t know though. It exfoliates, which is why your face feels so smooth, but I don’t know if most people need to exfoliate like that every day when it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to do the whole apply, wait and then rinse process. Seems a lot of work to me for a daily regime considering all the other cleaning/moisturing etc processes a lot of people do in addition.
It’s a pretty gray color and goes on smoothly. It’s a good product and feels so good afterward!

I was excited to try this clay mask to detoxify my face.
Pros: The consistency of the mask is nice- not too thick, but not too runny. It smells like lemon more than anything, but not overpowering. The 3.5oz container supports several face mask applications. My face does feel smoother and looks cleaner after using this mask.
Cons: The plastic applicator is small and isn’t flexible to be able to apply the mask evenly to the contours of my face. There were areas of my face that had a thin mask application and other areas with a thicker mask application. The instructions state to leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes until almost dry. A few minutes after applying the mask, I felt tingling and then some burning in my cheeks and chin. It took a long time to wash the mask off and I had to use my fingernails to scrap off the mask in certain areas. Ten minutes after washing my mask off, there were still areas of my face that were burning. It is concerning that my face was still burning for approximately 10-15 minutes after the mask was removed.

This mask smells so wonderful with the mixture of lemongrass, cucumber and peppermint. It was soft and was easy to apply. I let it sit on my face for 5 or so minutes, and then rinsed it off with warm water. It just melts nicely off the face when rinsing. I have super sensitive, dry skin and cannot use many products without having a reaction but this caused no issues. My face feels so soft and smooth after using it. I followed with my normal moisturizer and my face feels great. I am very pleased with this product.

Great clay mask, I really like the smell and feeling of this mask. Great exfoliate that left my skin feeling very soft.
