   For years I have been using this size of pad on my daughter’s bed but it was the old kind with the rubber stuff on the bottom. They slipped all over the place and I was constantly having to readjust. After years and years of use, they are way worn down so I went looking for more and instead I found these. I only bought a two pack to try them out before I spent money buying more. I have never been so happy with a pad of this type of any kind of any shape of any size of any make. These actually don’t slip all over the place. With her up and down, jumping on her bed And her sliding off of her bed, pads not slipping is a big ask. Some days I don’t have to adjust these at all, other days I might have to adjust them twice. But it’s a far cry from what I used to have to do. I just ordered four more, although I ordered two packs of two because it was cheaper that way. After several washings, they have held up well, under her abuse they have held up well. I still hang them up to dry or put them in the dryer on extra low, just to be safe but I don’t know if I have to do that. If you need this kind of thing for any reason, I definitely recommend it. I buy the 32×52 I think is the size, it fits on a full size bed in the middle which is where she sleeps. When I tuck them under her pillows, they go all the way down to her feet but at the same time she’s only 4 and 1/2 ft tall. Point being, they work extremely well, they have been a gift to my sanity and they cover a large area. Since I have to use these sort of things for pretty much the rest of her life, and have been using them for the last 15 years, to have one that I find impressive, should definitely work if it’s a short time thing as well. They do wash easily in the machine, and I’ve never had problem with urine leaking through. I highly recommend!

   These washable underpads are super absorbent and reliable! Great size for beds or couches, and they protect surfaces perfectly. Soft, waterproof, and easy to wash perfect for kids, elderly, or pets. Very happy with this 2pack!

   *This is going to be very long, due to my thorough testing of various brands, but the information learned is worth it if you want to save money/save environment/save yourself a ton of trouble*
   Two factors that lead to my experiments with various brands of pee pads:
   1.I’m poor, and I wanted to find the most economical/“bang for my buck” brand and
   2. I work long hours and have two VERY large dogs that normally get taken out to potty, but are also trained to go on pee pads if nobody is home and they have to go.

   Let me tell you- these guys produce as much urine per pee as a large beer-drinking adult male lol. Needless to say, I’ve tried many different brands to see if they’re up to the task, and I’ve had to clean up SO many overflows, even if I do 2 or 3 layers of disposable pee pads.

   So far, the Simple Solution “All Day” variety (NOT the regular kind) have been the absolute best at absorbing the largest quantity of urine without leaking for their size.
   I’ve also done my own tests to measure the max limit of cups of water each brand can absorb, and the “All Day” pads by Simple Solution far out-absorb their competitors. I could get a full 8 cups before it started overflowing or leaking.
   The next best brand was Four Paws “Wee Wee Pads”, but their normal pads and their “extra absorbent” pads had VERY little difference in the actual quantity of water absorbed. 2.5-3 cups in regular vs 3.5 in the extra absorbent. Psh. But they did perform better and prevent more leaks than a bunch of other lower end pads I tried.

   After a few months of buying pee pads and seeing how many trash bags I filled up each week, tossing them out each day, I felt so guilty for the constant amount of plastic waste that it was producing, and I also got tired of paying for another box of pads each week! So I forayed into the world of washable pee pads. There are an endless number of brands and some are labeled for people (bedwetting children or the elderly, etc) and some labeled for pets, but as far as how they function and their absorbency, THERES NO DIFFERENCE except the ones for pets may have a cute bone pattern. (Some claim they have an attractant, but my dogs peed on whatever I put in the area they were used to having pee pads in, so I can’t verify).

   I tried multiple brands of reusable pads, with a wide variety of quality and absorbency (some were just complete trash) but the absolute BEST one that I found was the IMPROVIA reusable underpad. Unlike others I tried, it has special channels that wick the wetness to the outer edges, where the fabric ALLOWS THE WATER PORTION TO EVAPORATE. WTF!? I was skeptical as always, but after putting it out during the day, when I came home it almost felt dry! Not soaked and heavy like the other brands I had tried. Not only that, but it didn’t stink of pee in the house, either! It blew my mind!
   Now of course, it has its limits, but so far I’ve even had the dogs use it for a few days in a row before washing it, and it’s blown me away with its absorbent capabilities and the evaporation function.
   And after washing in the machine, it air dries in an hour (as opposed to other brands, that come out heavy and soaked and take days to air dry).

   I’m not a bot, nor do I get paid for any of this info (but once again, I’m poor, so hey, Improvia, if you want to send a little money my way for raving about you to every pet owner I run into, that would be great! Lol).
   But really, I’m just a pet owner who wants to pass on some helpful info, and also encourage others to pick something more environmentally friendly than disposable pee pads. You don’t have to be a hippie to want to help the planet that you live on- every little thing you do counts!

   So I say, give the reusable kind a try. If you hate them, no big deal- it’s Amazon- just return them! But you might find that they’re actually better than the disposables, and will save you so much money! And if that happens, all I say is “pass the message along”! (And mark this review as ‘helpful’ so it can be seen by more people) 😀

   TLDR:
   Best disposable- Simple Solution “All Day” variety.
   Better option- IMPROVIA reuseable pads (last all day and then some!) Will save you hundreds of dollars in a short amount of time, and will also help the planet 🙂

   These are super helpful for potty training our 2 year old. They stay put on the sheets pretty well, even when he tosses and turns; much better than the disposable ones we used initially. Also much more cost effective than buying disposables. Make sure you put the right side up, if you put the wrong side up the urine will bead up and slide off the pad onto your sheets. But when used correctly it’s totally waterproof and our sheets stay dry underneath—perfect for changing out quickly in the middle of the night instead of the whole sheet set. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because there is some sort of chemical odor on the chux. It was much stronger when I first bought them, and has dissipated since washing a few times, but it’s still barely there. At first it permeated through the whole bedroom, I could notice the smell as soon as I walked in. That’s much better now and the room is only slightly affected. I should note my husband and mom don’t smell it at all, though my husband did notice it right out of the package before washing.

   La uso para mi perro que ya está viejita y se hace. Ya no tiene control para ir al baño. Este tapetito absorbe muy bien la pipi y no se moja tanto mi perrita. Aparte de que no traspasa su camita. Producto se me hizo un poco caro pero al ver lo bien que funciona vale la pena. No me arrepiento.

   These pads are great! They keep the bed, recliner, sofa, etc., clean and dry.
   They do shift a bit on the bed, but my relative’s bed is a deep, soft mattress, so I think any pad used would shift a bit under the circumstances.
   These pads wash up and dry easily and with minimal effort, so we always have clean, dry ones on hand.
   When I first ordered these I wasn’t sure how well they would work, so I just ordered one package of two pads.
   I was so impressed at how well they worked, though, that not long after I received that first package, I ordered two more packages for a total of six pads! It’s nice to know we have a great product that works, and always have enough to rotate out as needed.

    The washable underpad is amazing! It’s incredibly absorbent and provides excellent protection without any leaks. The quality is outstanding, and it holds up perfectly even after multiple washes.
