I have been having issues with constipation and bowel movements which sometimes for me cause bad cramping, muscle spasms in my stomach, and I have been looking for solutions to help keep things moving. This product stood out to me as I was looking for useful products! It is a nice herbal tea which has a good taste! It is gentle and doesn’t cause any crazy urgency like most laxatives do. Sometimes you do feel like a little bit of urgency a couple hours after having the tea and can experience a little discomfort but for the most part it is really good and helps me get things moving.
I love that it is not a bunch of random ingredients or medication and instead it is a herbal remedy. No chemicals or bad ingredients.
I experience occasional constipation so this is not something I would use regularly or daily and I don’t recommend that, But when things start not moving well I will jump back on this! Overall, a great product!

Ilivit Organic Colon Cleanser & Detox tea delivers what it’s supposed to do, at least for me.
First off, the taste
This is a really pleasant tasting tea from Colombia. Slightly minty, you can also detect the notes of ginger, lemon and fennel. It’s not overwhelming and easy to drink.
The formulation
An organic blend of herbs including horseradish, beet, eggplant, spinach and ingredients I listed above. They also include vitamins B, D, Calcium, and Zinc. I think it’s a well-rounded formula designed for gentle cleansing.
The Cleanse
The instructions recommend to soak the tea bag for just 5 minutes at first. This allows you to test out how it will effect you and I did just this on the first day. I took it just after lunch and 5 hours later I had some mild cramping and some evacuation, but nothing intense After a couple of days the cramping subsided but still helped move things along in the evening. It’s not a tea I will drink every day. I did a week cleanse with this and I’ll wait a few week and do it again. I may also occassionally drink a cup when I feel bloated or stuck.
Overall, I think it a natural and gentle way to get things moving and clean me out a bit. Bonus for the nice flavor. Perhaps a bit pricey at $1 a tea bag (at the time of this writing), but it is effective.
