I have tried every version of Icy Hot (as well as other brands) for back pain and for whatever reason, the Original Icy Hot Balm works better than all of the others, including the Extra Strength with Lidocaine. No idea why, but if you are confused by so many choices, this one is best. Many people I’ve talked to about it found the same thing. Not the roll on, not the higher strength one, but the original strength and the balm. Second choice after this and before other Icy Hots is Biofreeze roll on (completely different sensation), but this is better. Number one choice. As someone who hates too many choices I felt it was my civic duty to share my findings. Thank me later. 🙂

Normally I buy this at the store, the store was out this was a dollar cheaper online and came quicker than the store could restock.
I’m a fan of icy hot. This lives up to the brand and I have no issues with it.

I’ve used Icy Hot before but never the balm so when I opened the jar to put some on I gagged at the smell. To me, it smells like Pepto Bismol mixed with Vick’s. It’s such an overwhelming smell too so even when you put it on and let the balm dry, there is still a heavy smell. I’m usually fine with the smell of menthol but there’s something in here that just makes it reek.

Came packed perfectly nice and clean! This works very good I mean very good. My Son said it was hot, buy he didn’t care, cause the pain went away!😅 It’s summer an where having a heat wave. So his body was extra hot. But he didn’t feel the pain anymore, so he didn’t care about the heat.😅 I have a strong system/body so it’s perfect for me. Takes the pain away fast. I love this Icy Hot Cream. I recommend this Icy Hot Cream.👍
