They are for lunch boxes. We needed it for a move for two days. We used all of them and all the food was fine. We didn’t notice the size. Refroze the packs and will use for we are in FL and the packets stayed cold. No leaks. I would buy for lunch boxes not big coolers. But they were versatile and kept all cold. .

I was looking for reusable options for a cooler for a festival. I knew I didn’t want to spend $80 on ice to keep my food and drinks cold for three days and these were the best option I could find. To prep I filled my sink with cooler water and heavily adjaitated the bags underwater for 3-4 minutes. I kept some sheets together and other separated so I could wrap them around items. It worked great! I only needed one back of ice purchased at the beginning because my cooler was bigger than I remembered. At the end of three days my Igloo cooler still had some ice and my packs were super cold!! I will definitely be using the Luna Ica Packs again and suggesting others do the same!!

I give free ice packs to my customers when they buy perishable items. I love that these are so easy to store and I can make only a few at a time.

I was kinda skeptical of this product at first since you have to fill them with water before you use them, but they work quite well! They keep things cooler much longer than other ice packs, especially if the items are chilled beforehand.
One thing to mention is that when they are fully thawed they may leave a slimy, slippery feeling to the bottles/cans that are still in the cooler, as well as on the inside of the cooler itself. But it’s no hassle at all to clean and letting everything dry out overnight makes that feeling disappear, so it’s hardly an issue.
Also they might freeze to one another in the freezer but this can be mostly avoided by how you orient them when freezing.
Overall great product, I’ve only had 1 out of 120 spring a leak after a month of daily use/reuse. Highly recommended!!

I wanted to use these to ship some food about an hour away to my brother. Instructions were very clear, soak in water, freeze for 12 hours then use. Well I froze them for 3 days and dropped my package off at 9 am, was on the road at 9:30 to the destination, and arrived to him by noon. Was not remotely cold, all the “dry ice” was water inside, I would probably have to say this lasted about 35 minutes out of the freezer at most. Do yourself a favor and go get some dry ice from a local store if you have one. I think Ice packs last longer.

Easy to use and reuse, it’s so cool that it comes in flat sheets and you just allow the water to run into them and fill to desired size. Freeze and they are ready. We left ours out at 22oC temperature to see what would happen and they lasted 7 hours, without being in any cooler and never lost a drop of moisture.
Definitely will buy more in the future! Great product.
