This is a good moisturizer to use if your skin is already well-hydrated and you do not need extra help. It is very thin and more fluid than lotion. That being said, it absorbs well into the skin and is hydrating. This goes well under a body oil if you want to combine lotion and oil together. It is not irritating and would probably be best on oily skin types more than dry.

So this lotion is very thin, almost watery, but I believe its purpose is to be a vehicle to deliver the nutrients listed. It’s hydrating, but I would combine it with something heavier or seal its hydration in. I found it to be soothing and appreciate being able to nourish my skin with the vitamins and nutrients in a clean, straightforward product.

My skin tends to react well to NANO RECIPE cosmetic products, and when I stumbled upon their “Hydrating Lotion with D-Panthenol, Niacinamide, Ceramide – Calming, Anti-Aging, and Moisturizing Lotion 100ml 3.38Fl Oz,” I knew I had to give it a try.
This lotion has a lightweight and less viscous texture, making it easy for my skin to absorb. It lacks any scent and is non-irritating, making it the perfect choice for hot summer days when my skin is prone to producing excess oil. It provides the necessary hydration to my face, leaving it feeling silky, soft, and moisturized. Needless to say, I absolutely love this product!

As someone with dry skin that tends to suffer during the winter months, I found this lotion to be amazing. This moisture is lightweight and absorbs well into the skin. The lotion effortlessly glides on, without leaving any greasy residue behind. The faint scent of the lotion is a pleasant touch, providing a subtle and refreshing experience without overpowering the senses. What impressed me the most is how well this lotion tackles dryness. Even during the harsh winter months, this moisturizer provides the deep hydration my skin needs. It leaves my skin feeling calm and rejuvenated. The addition of ceramides further enhances the overall calming effect, providing a layer of protection and support for the skin barrier.

The lotion is not thick and is almost serum-like, runny. I don’t notice any fragrance when applying. It could be because I use very little and it applies nicely on my skin, absorbing quickly. The fast absorption may be because during the winter, my skin is thirsty for any moisture it can get! It is a good-sized bottle. You will have an extremely difficult time reading the print on the bottle (if you notice any print at all), since it’s white print on the white background of the lotion in the bottle. That is something that should be changed. I could tell some of the print on the bottle is not in English. The bottle looks really generic without being able to see any print on it.
Update on 3/10/24: I have been using this under makeup for the past 4 or 5 months. It makes a nice primer, since it spreads well with very little, and it’s lightweight. I also smear some on my neck and decolettage area. It has made my neck area look nice. I will continue to use this and updated to 5 stars.
Update on 9/14/24: I continue to use this lotion under my makeup and on my decolletage area. It absorbs well during the summer too! I still have about half the bottle left. I usually use about 3 to 4 pumps each time, maybe 4 times per week. I need to be sure to order this same one again. It lasts a long time and my skin loves it! Worth it!!

I’m pretty happy with this lotion. I know it says it’s based in south korea and I usually have good luck with south korean brands for beauty. The packaging is beautiful. I’m docking two stars though because 1) I really can’t find out much about this brand online so it worries me that it’s a weird amazon-only knockoff brand and 2) it wasn’t very moisturizing.

This is Calming Booster Lotion by Nano Recipe which is a Korean K-beauty skincare product. This lotion doesn’t have a fragrance and goes on easily. According to the packaging the core active ingredients are: panthenol, niacinamide and ceramide. These are all good healthy ingredients for your skin. Speaking of ceramides, this product reminds me of Cerave facial lotion but perhaps this is a little more watery – which I like because it is absorbed more quickly. This is supposed to be non – irritating and is supposed to reduce redness. I certain found no irritation related to using this product. Reasonably priced, similarly priced to Cerave actually, and enjoyable to use.

This lotion is very thin but absorbs well and seems to moisturize my skin. It doesn’t have any odor and doesn’t irritate my skin. It’s light feeling as well.
