Just ask Babs –
The scent of this lotion is just amazing! It’s lemony which is quite common among skincare products, but it isn’t overpowering and artificial at all, yet also quite bright and strong. This is by far my favorite scent among all the skincare products I own.
Scent aside, this lotion is also quite great on the skin. It’s not the heaviest out there, but it’s not the lightest by any means either. It takes a bit of time to absorb, but certainly not a long while, and my skin stays plump for hours after use.
I will definitely be buying this again from Demiki once I finish this tub!

The “DEMIKI Hydrating Body Lotion” is very hydrating. It’s a great moisturizer. When applied, it is smooth and absorbs into the skin quickly as it softens and moisturizes. I wish that I could continue to use it. The problem for me is the strong perfume scent. The scent itself is very similar to an expensive perfume that I have which is lovely. The concentration of the perfume scent in the lotion however is very strong and overpowering. I applied the lotion to my arms before going to bed, and the perfume scent was so overpowering that I could not sleep. I had to get up and wash it off.

The Demiki hydrating body lotion is so nicely scented. It gives the lightest lemon scent I have ever smelled and I just love this scent. I first used a hand scrub on my hands and then used this after washing them. The cream is a bit thin but it is so nice on your skin, and I like it more then I thought I would after seeing how thin it is. There is just the slightest feel of lotion on your skin once it dries but it has such a good feel, and again, the scent is so lovely.
The packaging is lovely and it comes in all Japanese (I assume) and then stickers on the box with the english translation. I would gift this product because of the feeling and scent of the lotion
I love this lotion! I do think it is a little on the expensive side but I still am glad I tried it and would still gift it to special people.

Review: Demiki, Hydrating Body Lotion
I smell so good between my Demiki Shower gel and this tub of cream. This is a Japanese brand and it appears to be a newer company because I couldn’t find much online (perhaps I’m wrong and somebody else can include in their review). I’ve noticed most products coming out of Asia rely on fragrances at varying levels and this is no different. It is most definitely scented though not heavily. Great for after a shower. I also used it on my face but in reality think this might be a tad too heavy for the face unless you have very dry skin.

This DEMIKI body lotion comes in a large jar of 6.7 Oz. The lotion has a delicate citrus scent which is very lovely. Once put on, the lotion absorbes easily leaving the skin very soft. My skin stays hydrated for several hours. After using this for a few weeks, my skin turns visibly softer and less flaky. Great body moisturizer with excellent ingredients.

This body lotion from DEMIKI smells very lightly of citrus as it contains yuzu. 🙂 It has a lot of great ingredients such as squalane, allantoin, and beeswax to leave the skin so silky. Absorption was somewhat slow as my skin felt tacky afterwards for a few minutes but there was a visible difference in hydration on my skim as ashy areas on my elbows and knees were gone. My skin is left smelling of yuzu after using for hours and I really like how it feels on the skin.
I think if you are looking for a luxury body lotion and like citrus scents. This is a really good one. I would reorder this again as it’s great as a special treat.

As a massage therapist and skincare enthusiast, I’ve tried sooooo many lotions. Dozens. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!!!! It smells so darn good and the texture is creamy yet absorbs easily into the skin!!!

I needed more body lotion, so when I saw this Hydrating Body Lotion from Demiki (out of Japan) I thought it would be just the thing for my dry skin.
This body lotion has a lot going for it because it is chock full of ingredients that skin loves. It contains a high concentration of squalane, which is an all-around powerhouse for hydration, calming / soothing and repairing skin. In addition to that this formulation also has betaine, Allantoin, arginine, and sodium PCA, all of which provide yet more hydration, repair, soothing and barrier protection.
Aside from all those great skin friendly ingredients, this moisturizer has a fantastic scent. I love the fact that they took the time to formulate such a light yet complex and pleasing fragrance, worthy of being a perfume on its own. To describe it I would say that the scent has some citrus with a hint of floral and some spicier herbal notes in the background. It is not overwhelming in the least, OR at least not to me, and does fade after application.
When applying this cream it feels very lightweight yet for me it seems to leave a bit of tackiness on the skin, which I do not like. I did not use a lot but with all these hydrating ingredients could have probably used even less. My skin definitely feels softer.
The only downside to this body lotion is that it contains silicone (dimethicone) and microplastics (sodium acrylate), both of which are “poorly biodegradable”. Minus one star for that.
When I ordered this body lotion it was selling for $19.99 for a large tub, and I do think that that is a very good value for a lotion that contains so many hydrating ingredients.
