I got these and I am so happy that I did. I drink them now every morning the minute I get up and they help me start my day. I feel awake, hydrated and energized. They have a slight lemon taste, nothing overwhelming and I have been able to workout in the morning now before work. Some days I even drink one in the afternoon (if I have a very early day) to just give me that extra boost. I am able to keep up my water consumption and be caffeinated at the same time.

I decided to try Hydrant raspberry lemonade as it’s been very hot & dry where I live, with another heat wave this weekend, so I knew I needed some additional electrolytes. Hydrant has added caffeine as well, which is a nice pick me up for that midday slump. These are easy enough to leave a few hanging around in my purse, at home, in my car and in my office so I’m never without. The raspberry lemonade has a slightly sweet taste, and brings me back to my youth – raspberry lemonade was my go-to drink as a kid.

I’ve been drinking Hydrant every morning for a little over a month now, and I have to say it’s some of the best stuff I’ve used in a long time. I’ve had pre-workout powders, caffeine and alertness supplements, and energy drinks but none of them really compare to Hydrant.
The taste is subtle but very pleasant! And the mental clarity it provides is second-to-none, especially if you keep using it as I have. It doesn’t make me super energized, but I can hardly say I’m tired and I’m scarcely lost in working or communicating my thoughts. It might not be the most flavorful, but it’s very far from tasting bad! Most of all, there’s no crash from what I can tell, and the energy provided lasts quite a long time!

I usually power through the flavor of hydration/energy packet mixtures, but this one is the worst I’ve tried. I thought maybe with the good reviews and the cheap price that I was getting a deal, but I’d rather spend the extra money on a different brand that has better flavor. This was disappointing. The caffeine is nice and definitely works, but I can’t get myself to drink these. The caffeine is not enough to consider this a “traditional” punch of preworkout, it’s more equivalent to a cup of coffee. Probably won’t buy again.

I love the original hydrant especially the Fruit Punch Flavor, so I was excited to try a caffeinated version.
I am disappointed to report that this one is not good. It tastes very artificial and I have a hard time believing there is not artificial sweeteners in it because it sure tastes like it. It makes me feel sick- giving me a headache and stomachache. Go buy the original version instead.

Replaced my one cup of coffee a day with this because I wanted to wean off of coffee. Was surprised to find the Hydrant greatly reduced my ADHD symptoms!! Since both drinks have caffeine, I think it must be the L-theanine ? I take it once a day at breakfast. Helps so much with my focus and concentration. My son has ADHD and it helps him to focus, too, though he wishes it was sweeter.
I prefer the all lemon flavor to the raspberry lemon, but they are both great.
