A good hyaluronic acid right after washing and patting your face dry does wonders to keep moisture in and therefore keep light wrinkles at bay. The key is knowing when and how to use it. It is NOT a moisturizer but works with the moisture in your skin. This HA from Dermaxgen has HA as their first ingredient after water but the next is “pentavin”. I am not sure what “pentavin” and I am very familiar with cosmetic ingredients. However, if this was just a misspelling of PENTAVITIN, which is a register trademarked name of an ingredient often found in cosmetics, then maybe they should try to spell it correctly and identify it with the little R with a circle around it (the registered trademark symbol) as they are legally required to. Given that it was not and the ingredients are not listed on their listing, just makes me suspect. The next ingredient is Lilium Japonicum Extract, which is good for the skin but is also a fragrance. So this product, even though stating it is fragrance-free, DOES have fragrance as its fourth ingredient. However, Lilium Japonicum Extract is actually good for the skin beyond its natural fragrance. That said, the serum does not have a strong fragrance once applied. Overall, I love a good Hyaluronic Serum and use it daily, I am not sure about the other ingredients listed on this product. Normally I would give a product a pass if the ingredients were listed correctly on the website or listing but there are no other listings of the ingredients for this product anywhere except on the side of the box… which you can only see AFTER you buy the product. So, the review pictures include the ingredients so you can decide if this is the product for you…. shouldn’t the seller be proud of their ingredients and show them to you??

Misleading label. If it was PURE hyaluronic acid would be the SOLE INGREDIENT. So I don’t understand the title of the product. It’s misleading.
It’s nice and works well with my skin. Hydrated and soft after using.
Just I don’t like false advertising or LABELING.

TLDR: A 5 star product with a 1 star mystery ingredient
Given the lack of testing requirements for cosmetics, and the often unsubstantiated claims for efficacy, I typically evaluate them based primarily on ingredients, and secondarily on cost. There are simply too many individual variables to determine how it’ll work on each person.
I checked each of the ingredients (see below) on the Environmental Working Group website. They use science-based reviews of each product and ingredient to determine risk for Cancer, Allergies & Immunotoxicity, Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity, and Use Restrictions.
Ingredients:
Water
Hyaluronic Acid
Pentavin
Lilium Japonicum Extract – fragrance and conditioning
Tremella Fuciformis Extract – mushroom extract
Dextran
Alpinia Speciosa Leaf Extract
Hydrolyzed Sericin
Glycerin
Glycerol Glucoside
Cabomer
All of the ingredients have the best EWG ratings except Pentavin, which doesn’t exist. Further web searches didn’t find Pentavin at all. The closest was Pentavitin, a trade name for Saccharide Isomerate, another great ingredient.
But DermaXGen list Pentavin on their label, box, and sales page. So unless there is a massive copy/paste fiasco, I’d be putting a mystery ingredient on my face. No thanks.
Cost is quite reasonable for a 2 ounce product.
The company has a web presence but there is no reference to Hyaluronic Acid, and their blog has issues, not giving me a huge amount of confidence.
Overall I really want to like and use this product, as Hyaluronic Acid is a great skin care product, and their other ingredients are considered high quality. But until the mystery of the Pentavin ingredient is solved, I can’t in good conscience rate it higher than three stars.

Dermaxgen Hyaluronic Acid Serum for Face & Eyes is a good product but not clearly advertised. The main ingredients are not mentioned properly, and there are some errors in Maning some ingredients. It says it has pure HA but I am not sure about that. It says fragrance free but the product does have a light scent which is not overwhelming. I am a little skeptical about using this product due to the issue with clarity, because what you put on your face and body should be something that is safe and good for you.

It has a very light scent although it said its fragrance free but fades away quiet quickly, the dropper maker it very easy to dispense and apply, I use it right out of the shower on a nice freshly cleaned face while my pores are still awake, it feels a bit oily but in a silkyish way, u must pad it in for it to really get absorbed into the skin then I follow it up with my moisturizer and this routine has given my face such a smooth soft feel just after a few days of trying, ofcourse I do have to give it more time to visibly see the effects of improvement on the fine wrinkles as its stated it will help reduce but so far I’m liking it and it is decently priced too. It is lacking vitamin c though so I been mixing mine in making it an extra step but not a big deal since I already have the c vitamin syrup on hand.

I’m glad to see hyaluronic acid is available as a stand-alone product. My skin is very dry but also prone to breakouts when certain ingredients are incorporated into facial creams and serums. This is an easy way to get the hydrating/firming benefits that hyaluronic acid provides, and it complements the other skin care products that I use.
