I originally started taking turkey tail and lions mane from host defense. Within around two weeks the pain I have been experiencing for the past 20 years from chronic gastritis, chronic prostatitis, and cystitis got much better . Those are all very painful conditions that have had me irritable and uncomfortable for quite some time. The gastritis still is there every now and then if I eat really unhealthy food. But the next morning I just take these supplements and it feels better . I stopped taking the lions mane because it messes with my libido. But I now have added along with the turkey tail, Chaga and reishi. Overall my health has gotten way better. My moods have gotten better. Anxiety and depression have been nonexistent. I read some more reviews on turkey tail and saw that it was helping people with their cancer treatment. So I suggested host defense products to a friend of mine who has stage 4 melanoma. He told me that his previous two scans showed that his tumors had plateaued meaning that nothing has changed. On his latest scan his doctor was surprised to see that a good amount of the tumors have disappeared. He told me the only thing he has done differently since those previous scans is take these products. I will continue to keep taking them for my own health. And I’m also seeing that it helps animals who have cancer and other ailments simply by sprinkling the powder into their wet food. Thank you Paul stamets.

Originally we made this purchase as my husband had been diagnosed with liver cancer, however, his condition was too far advanced as he passed away a week after his diagnosis. On the other hand, I also suffer from multiple comorbidities including highly insulin resistant type one diabetes, Gastro paresis and Crohn’s colitis, severe arthritis and severe depression anxiety disorder among several others. Since taking this turkey tail mushroom capsules, my blood sugars have drastically improved, causing me to require much less insulin than I was taking before. My depression is also much better than what it had been, even though life has been turned upside down the last 2 1/2 months with my husband‘s death as well as the death of my first guy dog. My arthritis and full body pain has been cut more than half, allowing me to stop taking prescription pain medication and opiates, and simply being able to manage through natural resources. Incredible liver detox abilities as well. I feel so much healthier 2 1/2 months after taking these and I did my entire 37 years of life. Absolutely recommend. I have tried other knock off brands, but nothing even begins to compare to what these offer.
Always check with your physician before taking any natural or chemical over-the-counter medication. As you never know how they might affect your personal body with your specific situation. I was very blessed that all of my physicians were willing to get on board with me trying this, and what a difference it has made for me.

I am using this along with Chauga for my husband who is dealing with cancer, dementia and diabetes. Not sure about the dementia and whether it is helping. I can say the dementia has not gotten worse. What I am singing praises about is with the cancer (mainly) and diabetes (secondary). Frankly, if you don’t work on your diet and stop putting bad things into your body nothing is going to help with diabetes. There is NO magic pill. I can say my husband’s diabetes has not gotten worse over the last 1 1/2 years and I can say I think the Turkey Tail/Chauga combination has help regulate his blood sugars (fewer swings in blood sugar levels). Where this combo shines is with my husband’s cancer. We’ve gone from being given little hope, to wonderful results, to a re-occuring tumor and back to sorrow, to being told the new tumor was non-cancerous and now to a doctor who shakes his head and says … I don’t understand but keep on doing what you are doing. The ONLY treatment my husband has received with exception of 1 chemo treatment is Turkey Tail/Chauga. He’s not out of the woods yet but he’s on his way. I see overall health improvement – more energy, better blood sugar levels, his coloring is back to normal, his mood (dementia) has leveled out. My research has led me to believe Host Defense is the best resource for these supplements and I will only buy this brand as long as it’s available. A little pricey but I truly believe these supplements are helping to keep my husband with me and I am very thankful.
