I have been taking Vitex for the last few years because I have terrible cramps and flu-like symptoms each month before my period, as well as breast pain before I ovulate and before my period. Vitex has been a life saver for me, eliminating the flu-like symptoms and breast pain and reducing the cramps. I have used other brands, but this is the most economical one I’ve found that is effective.

First of all, let me say that this product works for me for my moodiness caused by PMS/Peri-menopause. Now let me say that I believe the Capsules are not actually 820 mg each; when I compare these capsule sizes to actual 820 mg capsules of different products, these are much smaller. However, I just take two of these at a time instead of one and they are still way cheaper than other products even by taking two at a time. So I’m just giving it four stars because I don’t think the capsule size is accurate, but if the capsule size has been accurate five stars because I feel like this helps me with my moodiness. I definitely am grouchy if I do not take them. I love an herbal remedy!

I am in menopause, I take the chaste tree for my hot flashes. It’s been hard finding a comparable brand of what I’m used to and these have been great at a fraction of the cost. All herbs taste a little like dirt but hey, if it works, take it with something tasty 😋.
