5 stars so people will see it. I don’t know what exactly is in this product, but it’s not ginger. There’s no smell or taste of ginger and with how strong it is as a spice it should be potent in something called an extract. Ineligible for return so think wisely.

I have long been a fan of Horbaach’s Ginger Root extract. It had a bold, rich ginger flavor and was superb at rapidly addressing things like nausea, car sickness, digestion in general. For weeks it was sold out or “no longer available” on Amazon, even on Horbaach’s own site. When I saw it once again advertised for sale on Amazon (and on the Horbaach site), I bought several bottles which were curiously less expensive than the original product. Once I tried the stuff my first thoughts were that Horbaach should give these away for free or even recall them. The taste made me nearly gag. I tried a few bottles to see if this was a fluke. Unfortunately it wasn’t. Now I am stuck with this swill, at least with the opened bottles that can’t be returned. If you were a former devotee of this product, don’t fall for the new and DEFINITELY not-improved product !
