I’m a person who doesn’t like the menthol or medicine taste! This is simply honey! It tastes good and when it’s almost gone, actual honey is inside. This is my ‘go to’ throat drops!

I was introduced to Honees when I visited Italy three years ago and have been a constant purchaser ever since. I have an allergy cough which usually wakes me up at night so I keep them on my night stand in addition to my medicine cabinet, pocketbook, etc. I buy them when they are on sale and always have several packages on hand. I don’t want to run out! I’ve never experienced a bitter taste as another reviewer described. The natural ingredients in Honees is just another thing I love about these cough drops.

I buy these for my 5 yr old who doesn’t like the menthol flavors in other brands. This product really works and soothes his throat. We feel like this product really really works. My child would normally have very red throat and coughs so much that poor thing gets such an irritated and looks such red tonsils when sick. These soothing honey throat drops does its job and really soothes the throat naturally.
I tried these honey drops too. These are yummy. I love that there is real liquid honey in the center of the drop. The drop lasts good while and I really do look forward to the honey center.
We purchased one bag to try. Loved it and then just purchased the bulk because it is more value for your money.

The Honees brand “cough drops” taste great! The package is no frills, and each is wrapped separately, as are traditional cough drops.
I enjoy sucking on them until a small hole finally opens and releases the sweet honey nectar inside. It taste great from start the finish, the honey explosion has created somewhat of an addiction for me, with the only downside is the remaining candy will absolutely get stuck in your teeth and takes forever to dissolve completely.
And, that’s where my review would end if this was JUST a candy, or marketed as one. Now, honey is a natural remedy which those backing that type of thing may just love this. But, I’m okay with chemicals, and when it comes to preventing a cough, I typically spring for the Halls brand, or even fisherman’s friend. But, those can taste nasty, so I sought out some options, and this was one I decided to purchase.
Did it stop a cough whatsoever? No, not really. Honey is warm, and coats the throat, but does nothing to numb it like a typical cough drop. You could probably do better by simply eating straight honey, or mixing it into a hot tea for double the benefits. I was also shocked to see 4 grams of added sugar. Typically not a sign of anything being sold for healthcare needs, even if just a cough drop.
So, here’s my conclusion – if you love honey, candy, or honey candy, buy it. Don’t do it for the cough drop element, unless you really hate the chemical options in which you may already be accustom to natural remedies, which effectiveness always varies from person to person.

I don’t usually find myself reaching for a menthol/eucalyptus cough drop just because I like them, but it seems lately a little cough is a good excuse to have one. I love the honey center, and I do find them soothing. I’ve ordered the plain honey flavor (no eucalyptus or menthol) and the honey ginger (also no eucalyptus or menthol). I love all of their flavors.
