More and more we have dove into how Europe treats their food and supplements differently. If you don’t know, this is sold in Europe as Daosin. Europe’s products and food is better than the US in general, anyone who does their own research knows this. We love that this product has now come to the US, and more importantly that this WORKS! When researching this for yourself, read these reviews AND read reviews on Daosin as its the same thing. You are welcome 🙂

I have been avoiding dairy in large amounts for years. Not because of a lactose issue, but because large amounts of dairy give me sinus headaches. I can avoid the headaches by taking antihistamines, but I choose to just avoid dairy because I don’t want to go to sleep after eating. I tried these supplements before eating half of a pizza, following the instructions on the box, and I did not get the sinus headache that I would normally expect. Maybe it was a fluke, I will continue to use these to see. The box I received has an expiration date that is about a year and a half away. It also mentions that they are gluten free, but are not vegetarian. They are made in Austria.

Listen. If you have a serious allergic disease like I do, absolutely 100% do not play with this stuff. It may be safe for 99% of people, but people like us can’t mess around with this part of our body. I have mast cell activation syndrome, and looked to this for hope. Every single day I fight off anaphylaxis with an array of antihistamines and steroids, and still can only eat meat, blueberries, cantaloupe, grapes, water and black coffee. If I stray from any of that, I have to use epi pens and get iv steroids. I took a single pill of this, and 30 minutes, my hands and face were burning with hives. My skin turned glaring rosy pink, (im Caucasian) and my heart began to pound kind of like when you get given a large dose of iv steroids. I was very dizzy and paniced, but I drive to the hospital and slept it off in the parking lot for 2 hours before feeling safe enough to drive home. After that I was pasty white for a couple hours, which is rare nowadays, and I ate a whole cantaloupe, watermelon, (which normally I’m a little allergic to) a ton of Blueberries, and beef, which the fat can trigger me sometimes, but it didn’t. I was shocked! The stuff clearly works, but the way it entered my body was a nightmare! I’ll never be taking this brand again, but DAO has a lot of promise if it can be purified into a hypoallergenic compound that can be utilized in a sensitive medical setting. If there is any risk of anaphylaxis for you, I seriously wouldn’t take this stuff without literally being monitored in the hospital as it happens. As good as fruit is when you’re essentially on a carnivore diet, Its not worth the risk of dying or pushing your disease a direction it never needed to go. Take your meds and vitamins, hit your macros, take care of your body, stand up for yourself before doctors, and say your prayers. Leave this risky business for people who are less sensitive to these things.

I’m sensitive to corn, this product contains Maltodextrin I’m not sure of the source, but I didn’t feel good after taking this supplement. Research ingredient list before you buy!

My favorite dessert is Ice Cream and it wreaks havoc on my stomach. I took this beforehand and ate Apple Pie A La Mode and had no issues. I’ll continue to try this before certain foods. It definitely helped…

Full disclosure, I was not paid or given anything in exchange for this review. When I first came across this DAP supplement, I was excited to see that it was “extra strength.” However, the advertising hype did not live up to expectations. I’ve been using this for a few days and have noticed no notable improvements in my histamine response. This follows a month of using another brand, half the alleged potency of this one, which provided immediate and noticeable relief. I wish I could return this but alas my only recourse is leaving this review.

I ordered the product because of friends coming to visit my town and we would be eating out a lot. My town is rich with all different types of culinary delights…spicy, lactose, fried…all the dishes that my stomach says…NO!
But after 2 days of Brunch & Dinner. I had no issues. No reasons to “return home fast”
4 Stars not 5 – is only me saying I had to remember to take it 20 mins before the meal. Everytime.
