I’ve tried the chai vanilla (my absolute flavor so far). I bought this since I liked the other flavor and i do like nutmeg, cloves and cardamom. Good thing I bought a pack of 3! This isnt as tasty as the chai vanilla, but the added menthol helps with my dry throat especially during these colder months.

I love Chai tea so when I saw these cough drops I was really happy to try them. I cannot stand ANYTHING SPICY OR HOT TASTING. I can’t even use regular pepper at my dinner . I just buy a set of s/p shakers pre filled at the grocery store. First thing I do is throw the pepper away. I have asthma, it’s very severe. I was born with asthma. My mom smoked all during her pregnancies. There were 4 girls and I am the youngest . I am 72 yrs old. To this very day I cannot stand even a hint if spice. These cough drops are not “ hot” until the 28 second mark hits. Then look out!!!!! It was like someone filled my mouth with Pablomo chili peppers! Hot as the worst I have ever tasted. Water made it worse. I drank some almond milk. That didn’t help. Then I felt an asthma attack coming on. I prayed to my Father God and asked Him to please not let these awful so called cough drops hurt me. Well God answered this prayer really fast. Thank you my loving Father for hearing my prayer and answering it so quickly. I give my God all the honor and glory ! Do not try these cough drops if you do not like red hot spiced things or if you have asthma like me . It might not bother you at all but personally I would not waste the money. I wish I only bought one box but I was stupid and got 2 boxes. Threw them both in the garbage right away.

I like the fact that they are not too sweet. I am using them for a cough.

I never got to try the orange cardamom flavor that I ordered, because Amazon sent me the ORIGINAL MENTHOL flavor. The coloring of their products makes no sense at all! I can see why the person in the warehouse made the error. The orange cardamom has a GREEN label, and the Original Menthol has an ORANGE label. Those should be switched! When I think menthol, I think green. Orange should be orange!
I have not reordered because I feel the exact same thing will happen again. Amazon did give me a credit for it, but I have no reason to believe I will ever be sent the correct item from my local warehouse. I would love to try the orange cardamom flavor.
The menthol flavor is pretty overwhelming and strong if someone wants menthol. I tried just one, as I didn’t realize that it was not the flavor that I ordered. I won’t use it again because it interferes with homeopathic products, and I use homeopathy which is why I ordered the orange cardamom so I would be able to use my homeopathics, as menthol can cause them to not work.
I also have tried the vanilla cardamom, and it is ok. It will do as I can at least use that with homeopathy. The flavor is just meh though. It gets super spicy as it gets smaller, and the vanilla chai flavor is less and less.
The lozenge is rough, and can scratch the roof of your mouth depending on how firmly you have it in there. It does the job though, and has good ingredients.

Many people don’t seem to like the texture but I enjoy it! I bought these more for an herbal candy rather than a sore throat cure and let me tell you they are pretty spicy! At a certain point they get too spicy for me and then I crunch them and it’s just a different experience versus a normal cough drop or candy. I like that it’s a chai-like flavor. Normal chai doesn’t taste like candy.

They were pepper hot- but they worked
I expected some form of herb-nothing but hot

The other coughdrops just aren’t strong enough for me.

Although you should think twice if you have a sore throat and consider the ingredients, these are great tasting and spicy. Unique and fun to have on hand. Like a little chai tea in a drop.
