My normal go-to chapstick is Burt’s Bees, and this is a nice alternative. It is softer and less waxy, but does a good job moisturizing my lips and keeping them moisturized. Flavor is very banana heavy. I didn’t notice any issues with the scent that others have brought up.

It’s a pretty decent lip balm. It is a bit thicker so spreads a bit slower on your lips, but it does feel pretty good. Definitely feels hydrating. But the vanilla is insanely strong, kind of feels like I’m rubbing a candle on my mouth.

I really like how hydrated my lips are when using this lip balm. It has simple organic ingredients, which I love. It has a sweet vanilla scent that’s not overly powering. This lip balm goes on smoothly and without chunks like some others I’ve had in the past. It’s one of those lip balms you want to use during the cold months because your lips won’t ever go chap.

Most importantly, the lip balm works well at protecting and healing your lips. There are no weird flavors or excess sheen, and the consistency is just what you would expect. The only minor complaint is that the lip balm has a completely unexpected smell that’s almost like smoked meats. I suspect it comes from the fact that they make this with the recycled materials from their lipstick production, but it’s just something to be aware of that you truly wouldn’t expect from this product. I would consider other brands as a result, as the smell is just off-putting, but it isn’t a poor performing lip balm at all.

HIGHR Organic Vanilla Butter Hydrating Lip Balm. I tend to buy organic, limited ingredient lip balms, so I was excited to give this a try. The lip balm is packaged in an ordinary lip palm container which was safety sealed. I always smell lip balm first and was shocked and disappointed that this smells like a campfire. I do not like the smell of campfire. I decided to try it anyway and I could smell campfire for at least 45 minutes after applying. The balm glides on easily, and is not greasy or runny. I would normally give a product 3 stars if it does what it is supposed to do, but I just can’t for this lip balm. I will not use this again as the scent is off-putting to me. It also makes me question what ingredients are in the balm or the container for the balm to smell so bad. Perhaps I got a bad tube. There was no discernable vanilla scent.

1 ⭐️ 🚫 no one should order this. Either not as described, terrible quality, dangerous, or just really really bad.
2 ⭐️⭐️ 😬 maybe there is a use case or 1 redeeming element about the product, but I will not be using it again.
3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🙁 product is okay. I won’t be reordering, but it is generally as described but perhaps with a flaw or not for everyone.
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🙂 product is good. I will continue using the product until it breaks or is used up. Could see ordering again, but probably won’t. Generally like the product.
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🤯 This product is amazing. I love it. I can see myself reordering it or recommending it to friends/family. It is above and beyond a regular product in this category.

This vanilla flavored lip balm is very soothing to your lips. It helps from your lips being really dry. Would I recommend using this product. Yes I think it’s worth the money to purchase.
