I live the the Northeast US and during the long winters, my skin tends to get very dry. In the past, I’d used Neutrogena Men or other pharmacy brand lotions, but I’d always been put off by the cologne-heavy scents and the filmy, oily residue that they seemed to leave behind.
I reluctantly picked up this Jack Black Double-Duty moisturizer after reading about it on a men’s style blog, a bit skeptical about whether it would be worth the substantially higher cost than I was used to paying.
It was worth every cent.
This lotion has a really light scent, but it’s masculine and natural & very relaxing, actually. The lotion itself is incredible: it doesn’t leave my face feeling like it’s covered in moisturizer–it just leaves my faces feeling moisturized. It’s the way it usually feels in the summer months–healthy and soft to the touch, but not oily. Also, it’s well worth the cost as well in that I only need to use three tiny squirts of it to cover my entire face & it lasts all day. A tiny 3.3 oz bottle of this stuff usually lasts me 3-4 months, even though I use it on a daily basis.
I’d highly recommend this to any man looking for a good lotion that won’t leave him with an oily face or smelling like he rolled around in the storeroom of a Sephora. Most importantly, your significant other with definitely thank you.

Mi primer crema Facial. Me funciono bastante bien. A mi me funciono usar pequeñas cantidades. Mi cara se ve más clara y la gente lo nota. Tengo Piel Mixta. Parece que el precio es elevado, pero apenas llevo casi tres mese de uso y llevo 1/4 de uso del bote (cabe destacar que fui experimentando con la cantidad que me aplicaba, así que hubo un tiempo donde usaba de dos a tres gotas de crema. Ahora solo una como máximo)

I have never been an avid lotion user but I am a huge fan of this face moisturizer. I began looking for a good facial moisturizer a few years ago and someone recommended this moisturizer to me. I checked it out on Amazon and it received great reviews, but I was a bit hesitant at first because it is pretty pricey for a facial moisturizer. I’m glad I decided to buy it in the end.
I grew up in a dry climate and I am not a fan of the greasy, damp feeling most lotions leave on my skin. This lotion has a much more fluid texture so it absorbs quickly and it doesn’t leave that slimy feeling afterwards. I guess the term is a “light moisturizer” but I feel like that carries a negative connotation. There are other “light” lotions out there, but they have simply been watered down. This lotion, however, feels like a high quality moisturizer, not a watered down lotion.
I never imagined myself being the kind of person who would say this but I love how soft and healthy my skin feels after I put it on. I have VERY sensitive skin, and this is definitely the best lotion I’ve ever used. It doesn’t make my skin break out at all, which is amazing. The moisturizer is completely unscented and SPF 20 (though I sort of doubt that). I have used this in the sun here quite a bit and I do burn less than I do without the moisturizer, but I’m not sure it is quite SPF 20. Then again, I’m not a sunscreen connoisseur so I could be wrong. The bottle does say to reapply every 2 hours if being used in the sun.
I have the big bottle and a couple small bottles that I travel with. The small bottles are 3.3 oz so they are small enough to be taken through TSA, and the big bottle is 8.5 oz. The last 8.5 oz bottle lasted me almost a year. The only 2 active ingredients listed on the bottle are Avobenzone and Octinoxate (sunscreen components). The bottle says that they use only certified organic ingredients, which may be a plus for some people.
The lotion is a bit pricey but a little goes a LONG way. Since the last bottle of this stuff lasted me almost a year, I’d say it’s worth the investment. The lotion is high quality, absorbs quickly, is unscented and sun protective so it is a win for me. It was a great buy, and I would highly recommend it.

The title says it all–great lotion, but a crummy pump on the container. This is now my third purchase of this item and the only major issue I have is with the pump system–it is, quite simply, awkward and poorly designed. One stroke doesn’t pump out enough lotion, so I have to pump it 8, 9, 10 times or more just to get a useful amount (about a teaspoon perhaps). And the force of the pump is often not enough to prevent dripping onto the side of the bottle. I suggest buying an empty pump bottle and transferring the contents. Or discard the pump, find a cap, and just pour it out instead. Then, another problem I’ve encountered, when you’re about 2/3 down, the pump stops working and you’re forced to open the bottle and shake the contents out. You’d think such a high-end and expensive product would have a better delivery system. Nonetheless, despite these technical design flaws, the lotion itself is simply great. By far, the best overall full body lotion I’ve ever used. It’s a wonderful combination of a moisturizing skin cream with a broad spectrum sunblock. One of its best features is that it’s very light and non-greasy. I’ve even used it in my hair as a sort of styling gel. Moreover, the scent is subtle and not over-powering. Plus, the 20 SPF is perfect–even in the California sun–blocking 95% of harmful UV rays. I’ve used it for a four-hour round of golf on a sunny day and it fully protected me (admittedly, I was using a cart and wore a hat–but still, it was all the sunblock I needed to keep from getting burned on my face, arms, and legs).
