I received this cream Today. Smell bad, when you put it on you feel like you have soap in the skin that dry off, rough and looks so dry. I fono recommend this cream. I can’t even put it on again, it feels so heavy.

I love the way it feels cool on my face. I am sensetive to smells in products, but the scent is very subtle and not distracting or irritating at all. I have not been using it long yet so not sure if it has better longer term results than my previous moisturizer, but it is cooling and has a lighter feel than my regular face moisturizer.

I have contact dermatitis, so I’m careful about the products I use. All of my moisturizers are Ponds brand. They work great, however sometimes I need a bit more so I thought I’d try this Fresh Hydration gel. I love it!
I love the creamy feel of the gel, It’s quickly absorbed, has a slight short term cooling effect, smells clean not chemically, which dissipates within minutes. I can use my other Ponds products with it or not, everything works well together. On the rare occasions I wear makeup, there’s a marked improvement in the areas of my face where dryness normally causes problems. Instead my skin is softer, more uniform. I’ve also noticed I have less itching in my struggle areas. I use it twice a day, a little goes a long way so it’s great for my small budget. It’s now part of my daily self care routine.

I got the orange one as a sample and loved it so much I had to buy all of them to try and I love this one too. It leaves your skin feeling very soft and hydrated. No greasy feeling. The scent on this one isn’t as appealing as the orange one but it’s not a deal breaker. A little does go a long way so it’s worth the money. Such a great quality product.

It’s a serum-type moisturizer that works well enough, but it sort of looks like a mask because it dries a bit shiny (which could also mean I used too much, but I’ve tried with different amounts 3 different times and still had a shiny face and neck afterwards). It is lightweight, so it doesn’t feel gross like some greasy, thicker moisturizers, and that is always a bonus! I have too many health issues to count, which causes my skin to be EXTREMELY sensitive to a LOT of different moisturizers and such, and I hate to report this but it does seem to cause a burning sensation when applied directly after a full face wash. Re-applying, or just applying it a day/night later (after a full face wash) mitigates the burning sensation (which I assume is because the skin has produced a bit more of a barrier with natural oils? Just a guess though, I’m not a doctor so I don’t know 🤷🏽♀️). I do like the texture and the size of the pod! It makes it easier to store out of the way and doesn’t leave me feeling like I just coated on a bunch of sunscreen.
All in all, I don’t think it is particularly “special” or some sort of New-Age Miracle serum, which seems to be the implication on essentially every “health and beauty” product. I’d probably be mad if I didn’t buy it on Amazon, because it was about 5 bucks cheaper than nearby stores, so YAY! I wouldn’t object to buying this again if it’s a fair price, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to seek it out for purchase if it wasn’t readily available for some reason.

The smell is very perfumy, but I like it. Texture is smooth and feels cooling on the skin. Leaves my face very soft and hydrated. Perfect for under heavier moisturizers.

I am obsessed with this! I was at my grandmas going through her stuff and saw ponds moisturizer and asked her if she would recommend it or if I should go with another brand and she told me she’d been a loyal customer of ponds for over 20 years. I went got my own and this quality if phenomenal!!! I think I’m gonna do the same! Skin feels amazing. It’s cool and refreshing after a shower. It smells amazing. In love with it!
