What I like about this body butter is that it is super hydrating and smells good, like a hint of lemon. It’s a light refreshing scent. The thing I don’t care for is It doesn’t spread or absorb quickly. You get white streaks at first & then you have to keep massaging into skin to absorb. Some people may not mind that, though. Presentation is cute..reminds me of a little pint of ice cream.

– This is a good quality body butter. I always appreciate skincare products that are unscented because they are more gentle on my sensitive skin. This body butter is formulated with nice and simple ingredients that leaves my skin feeling moisturized and hydrated for hours. I have relatively dry skin so i go through a lot of body butters. The tub it comes in is very reminiscent of ice cream tub. In my opinion it is not the best shape to carry around. You might want to transfer this to some travel size container for travel purpose.
– Overall this is a nice body butter. I just wish it was more affordable.

This body butter feels luxurious when you put it on and just smells so, so good! I love a body cream that is moisturizing without leaving a greasy feeling and this lotion does just that – it absorbs great and leaves skin looking and feeling hydrated.
I will note that I wish the body butter container had a safety seal of sorts so you knew it had not been tampered with. I didn’t have any inclination that it had, but just in general I do like when beauty products or anything going in/on my body has a seal where you can know it has not been contaminated in any way!

Naturally Vain The Plumper- Moisturizing Body Butter
What is it?: CREAM
What does it do? Moisturizing Body Butter for Plumping This body butter is formulated with caffeine extract and hyaluronic acid for a luxurious butter that tightens and plumps skin. Caffeine helps reduce unwanted redness and tightens skin for a smooth appearance and hyaluronic acid helps hydrate your skin giving it a plump and soft texture with its water storing abilities. This body butter is finished off with a plant-based fragrance of Himalayan pink salt and neem, with hints of lime, bergamot and grapefruit.
Skin Type? Good for all skin types, and works well for my dry and sensitive skin
What do I think? I have super dry skin and this cream works everywhere. I have even used it on my face since the ingredients are super gentle and there is jsut a slight scent. This cream is amazing – it helps to repair and rehydrate my super dry skin. This cream is super rich but sinks in quickly and is a dream for my super dry skin. It does leave a bit of a waxy finish but that really helps to protect your skin’s barrier.

I go through a lot of body butters, so I like to think I know what sets a good body butter apart from its competitors. With Naturally Vain, I loved the texture– it’s creamy without being sticky, and nourishing without being heavy. For a 7oz tub at $22 (at the time of writing), I do think it is a little expensive, but it is made in Canada by a mother & son duo, and the body butter does contain ingredients like caffeine and hyaluronic acid for extra moisturizing effects. I did order the unscented version too, but unfortunately it got lost in transit but I am willing to bet all their body butters are of the same quality. Definitely recommend!

This is a very nice lotion! Not my personal favorite (but that’s a high bar)–and maybe my husband’s new favorite. Even though it is unscented the cucumber extract just give a very light, mild, fresh smell. It is pleasant. It’s very moisturizing and soaks into the skin well. It’s not suuuuper thick for a butter so I almost wish it had a pump instead of a tub for easier application.

This cream works beautifully. I found it to be nourishing and hydrating. The combination of shea, cocoa and cucumber extract works beautifully, and makes my skin feel soft and smooth.
TIP: Apply liberally after showering!

This body butter is luxurious! The tub has a nice screw top and when you open it, you see the glistening body butter filled to the brim. As soon as I smoothed some onto my skin, I loved the consistency. It is a smooth and creamy body butter that has a satin finish. There is hardly a scent, if any. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no residue behind. It is not oily or sticky, just pure satin!
It has caffeine and that is supposed to help with cellulite. I haven’t been using it long enough to see any effects on that! But I have hope!!
