I purchased this lotion because I have really really dry skin during the winter months and have been unable to find anything that is light enough so I don’t leave greasy marks wherever I am. I love the feel of this lotion! The customer service though is what has brought me back to purchase many other items. I had a problem with the scent because I’m scent-sensitive. The scent is light and my husband said he can barely smell it but since I use most fragrance free products, I should have looked into their other products and purchased their fragrance free instead. I emailed the company and they immediately responded with no problems.
I recently purchased another brand from another company and they were not as quick to respond nor were they willing to work with me. I can’t wait to get the fragrance free Marlowe lotion since the texture and feel of this lotion is amazing! And again, no greasy residue. I highly recommend this product but not just because I love the lotion but because of their amazing customer service.

I really love the quality of this lotion. I have dry skin in the winter and I’m very picky with what ingredients I use. For the price, I think it may be the best value for quality out there. My wife likes it on me too and she’s very picky about the scent. It’s a very clean, refreshing and masculine scent that hits the spot.

I have been searching for something with similar notes to Nest Indigo without luck.
I definitely wasn’t having any luck in the women’s beauty section.
I stumbled upon this and was happy to see some of the same notes. Don’t get me wrong, this lotion does NOT smell like perfume nor does it smell feminine. It just has similar base notes that pair and layer well for me.
I am pleasantly surprised that the pump does not dispense outrageous amounts of runny lotion. You get a controlled amount of thick lotion that rubs in quickly leaving no sticky, slippery residue. It feels great and lasts.
The scent is very subtle and clean. I would definitely categorize this as a unisex scent.
The formula is non-irritating, cruelty free, and a little goes a long way.

I am big fan of Marlowe products and also use their Marlowe. No. 102 Men’s Body Scrub Soap. This lotion smells great and does very good job moisturizing. However, the party is over about 2/3’s down the bottle whereas the pump can no longer dispense product. This has happened on each of the 5 or 6 times I have purchased this item. I then need to carefully balance the dispenser upside down (see photo) and unscrew the applicator cap each morning to get the remaining product out. I would give product 5 stars if not for this unfortunate problem.

I’ve really been enjoying this lotion so far. It’s very easy to apply and not too thick or greasy. A little bit goes a long way. It has a very pleasing scent but is not too overpowering or too feminine like a lot of lotions. This really is a good choice for men. I get hints of citrus, pine, and cucumber from the scent. It’s really nice!
One caveat is that it is a bit lighter, so it may not be ideal for those in very dry climates or with very dry skin. I live in Florida, so I appreciate that it’s lighter since thicker lotions make you sweat terribly in the hot and humid weather here. Even so, I found I usually need to two applications per day to achieve a good level of moisturizing.

I am extremely picky when it comes to lotion! I love this Marlowe lotion so much – it is deserving of a review (which I never do.) Scent is a big deal for me, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the light, clean, masculine scent. I don’t like to use cologne so this provides just enough scent. I also love the price. I used a very expensive brand before and got sick of paying such a high price for something I use every day. The only negative (and it’s a small one) would be that the lotion is just a tad bit heavier than I’m used to, so it doesn’t absorb as quickly. But everything else makes up for it. I have since ordered the face wash and face moisturizer, and I’m equally as happy.

I have this bottle everywhere. Such a great moisturizer without any oil residue! LIFE HACK: keep a bottle in the kitchen. Your hands will thank you after handwashing or scrubbing the dishes. There smell is so subtle which I love because I don’t like fragrance in my lotions! Super rich and creamy but not overly thick where your pores are getting clogged. Perfect.
