This bodywash leathers pretty good, smells okay..not horrible and cleans as a bodywash should. I didn’t have to use too much.

I don’t really like the smell of this Soakness Destress Body Wash and it doesn’t lather up that well. Some people might like less lather, but my personal preferences is for a more foamy lather. This is advertised as Cedarwood so a woody smell is to be expected but to me the woody scent was just too much. Others may like that but I did not. I wish it had a little less cedarwood and a little more bergamot. That said this did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
I’m glad that this product came in a plastic mailer bag because the lid leaked and made a big mess in the bag. If the packaging was a box or paper mailer, it would’ve been even more of a mess. The product came with a plastic seal around the top of the pump, but there was no seal around the entire lid. The lid came unscrewed and the product spilled all over the inside of the package. What a mess! I also lost a significant amount of the product as a result of the spill.

For $20 at the time of this review, it’s NOT worth it. When you open the cap to smell the product, it smells both of cedarwood and bergamot, and you feel like they’re equally playing together and there’s a small concern it might be too strong of a smell (it wasn’t too strong at all in reality). Well…by the time I got in the shower and lathered up my pouf, I feel like the cedarwood smell dominated out of the two. And then the lather didn’t last nearly as long on my pouf as my normal body wash. I typically use Method’s Pure Peace body wash which I LOVE. I could spend LESS money on Method and get MORE of it and smell WAY better than this product. Sorry, but this body wash just ain’t doing it for me. I wouldn’t bother.

This is a good amount of body wash at decent price. However the packaging of it isn’t that great. The head was broken when arrived. This Moisturizing Body Wash did Hydrates & Nourishes my dry skin. However the smell is just too strong for me. It clean and feels good but not the smell. I still got more than half of left. Just can’t stand the smell. Otherwise it clean as a body wash should.

When it comes to body washes I want good cleaning, good suds, and good scent
I felt clean after the shower and it didn’t dry out my skin or leaving it feeling raw. I use a loofah for suds and application, this one required about the same amount liquid to be applied for similar suds as other brands. It was a bit on the less than average but within range
The smell is a strong woody scent. Personally we didn’t like the smell. There is male woody scent which can be amazing, this was not that. Hard to describe but not one we would stick with. But smell is a personal preference, so you may love it

I tried the Soakness Destress Body Wash in Cedarwood and Bergamot. It came in a large 16 fl oz bottle with a pump, which makes it easy to use in the shower. The body wash doesn’t lather the best, it produces a creamier conditioner like lather. The scent is a bit stronger on the cedarwood side than I was expecting. I like the calming, woodsy smell of cedarwood, but I was hoping for a brighter citrus scent from the bergamot. If you’re a fan of cedarwood, you’ll probably enjoy this, but if you prefer citrus scents, you might want to look for something else. I liked this body wash. It cleanses well, leaves my skin feeling soft, and has a pleasant cedarwood scent. I also appreciate that it contains natural olive oil and aloe, which are known for their moisturizing properties.

I am reviewing: Soakness Destress Body Wash (Cedarwood and Bergamot) – Hydrating Cleanser for Calming Daily Shower Ritual, 16 fl oz
This body wash has an noticeably rich and creamy lather. It doesn’t require a lot, just one or two pumps on your loofah is plenty. It does leave skin very soft and moisturized, but the scent is not my favorite. It is not overpowering, but very nutty and woodsy. If Bergamot and Cedarwood are pleasant to you, this is the perfect body wash.
It is a large bottle, which is always nice. My husband has very dry skin and even his legs look and feel better using this soap.
