The actual product itself is great. It does work for acne and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. I had no rosacea flare ups using this at all. The bag it comes in is really cute. While marketed towards teens I think these are perfect for adults as well. Especially those of us aging and trying to find gentle ways to deal with skin breakouts.
My biggest gripe is they require a QR reader to get directions. On the back of their products there’s only a small description and a big QR code. I didn’t realize this and when I was in the shower I looked at the back stunned. Who has their cellphone in the shower? Honestly though I don’t think any product, especially one meant for the body, should require a phone, tablet, etc to find out the recommended instructions.
They don’t even include a card of instructions in the bag. It’s literally tubes with QR code. Ridiculous. For $100 they can print the instructions!

Been using this for 2ish weeks. It seems to be working so far. There are 3 steps. First step is the largest bottle and had a mild clean scent. It seems to be meant as a general cleanser. As such, have been using twice daily. Step 2 is honey color and has a honey fragrance. It almost feels slightly greasy, but it’s meant as a deep pore cleaner and leaves the skin super soft. Skin is not greasy at all after use. Using one daily. Third step is an exfoliating cream. This too adds to the smoothing results.
Steps 1 and 2 have a QR code for directions that lead to an inactive page on the company’s website. Only step 3 came in a box with directions on it.
I do not have terribly sensitive skin and all three steps have been gentle. My acne has stayed to a minimum and the texture of my skin has definitely improved. It’s certainly a nice set of products but it would break me to buy it on the regular.

Not only is this kit from Hey Honey super cute, it packs a punch in acne defense! The bag these products comes in is adorable and I think it would be an awesome look for any teen or even a trendy adult. What’s more important is the quality of the products inside the bag and Hey Honey provides an awesome combination to help anyone treat and prevent acne, or simply keep their skin the best it can be. I like each of the included products in this set. None are overly scented and simply work well. Overall, this is a unique looking skincare set that I think is very giftable and most importantly, effective. 10/10 would recommend!

Here are Hey Honey’s three-step acne care products. Includes Daily Face Wash, Deep Pore Cleansing Gel and Night Clarifying Treatment.
The fragrance has a strong honey smell, which is acceptable.
Daily Face Wash and Deep Pore Cleansing Gel can really make your child’s face cleaner and reduce buildup.
They are not suitable for my acne-prone and blackhead-prone skin as I cannot see a noticeable difference in my skin after use.
But this is a great face cleansing set for my kids. So, this skin care set may be more suitable for teenagers.

I’m now a middle-aged adult, however, I seem to be one of those adults with consistently troubling skin. I was looking forward to trying this three-step acne treatment.
This is the complete “Be Clear” kit with an attractive bag included. I find it a little weird that you don’t save money buying the entire kit instead of one step at a time, but I can deal with that.
You get a 4.2-ounce tube of daily face wash, a 2.7-ounce tube of deep pore cleansing gel, and a 1.9-ounce tube of overnight treatment for clarifying.
The scent is honey, though it’s pretty mild. The product is noted as good for all skin types. I would, however, be aware of possible allergens involving honey or bees.
The combination of honey and bee propolis is a good one. I’ve used all three items, of course, and I find myself most taken by the face wash. It absorbs nicely and really feels good on my skin. It’s an enduring clean that I really like.
I’m probably least taken by the overnight clarifying gel. It’s fine, I suppose, but it feels like a notch below the other two steps.
These products are clean and cruelty free.
This is definitely more of a premium product and looks and feels like more of a premium product. I like it. It’s a solid acne treatment option, though I suppose it’s missing that “wow” factor for me that I was hoping I would experience. That said, I’m seeing some consistent skin improvements and I will continue to use it. After I’ve finished this first complete kit, I’ll assess for continued use. However, for those looking for an all-in-one treatment set this is definitely a good option to try.

This set is a high price point, but considering that it uses honey, it makes sense. I think the combination of honey and bee propolis is a great idea. This set is a little confusing, however, as the third step is for overnight and steps 1 and 2 are both cleanser types so if your skin can handle double/triple cleanse routines, you can use both steps during one skincare routine. Otherwise, I think it suffices to use only one along with other products for moisturizing. These all felt quite nice to use and helps heal skin. I am an adult who just has to deal with life long acne, and this kit didn’t over dry my skin. I think it is probably aimed more for the teenager age group, considering the cute colored packaging and the neat carry bag. My skin did not have a reaction to any of these products. I would consider getting again in the future when my child is older and would require an acne skincare routine.

Very pleased with this Hey Honey Skincare Be Clear 3-Step Acne Routine Complete Kit. It definitely helped a family member’s skin after they’d been using it for several weeks. However, you must stick to the routine in order for it to be successful. Not too much peeling or irritation in this case, just a gradual clearing of skin. Decent sized bottles. No irritation. Would buy again.
