I have tried so many skin care products over the years form drug store to luxury and everything in between. I recently had the opportunity to try quite a few products from this brand, and I can’t believe how impressed I am!
Seriously, this Brave Body Mineral Melt from Hero Cosmetics is awesome! And not only this product, the others from this brand are just as great! This lotion initially seams like it’s going to be a really thick and uncomfortable, but it’s not at all! It melts into your skin just like the product name says. And it doesn’t leave you feeling greasy or gross at all, just moisturized and soft skin! Highly recommend not just this product, but the others as well from this brand!

I really like this brave body mineral melt, except for the strong scent. The bottle is a nice size and it comes with a lid you pop open.
The lotion is white and comes out pretty thick. Although it is a thick consistency, it actually rubs in very easily and does not feel greasy at all on the skin. It feels like it fully absorbs and you aren’t left with a sticky and oily feeling throughout the day.
After using it, I do find that my skin is hydrated and moisturized. I normally apply it after a shower.
The only thing I don’t love though is that it has a very strong scent. It smells like a scent that would be in a men’s deodorant. You can definitely smell it on your skin the first hour after you apply it. Since I do have sensitive skin, I wish it were less scented as it would be more pleasant if it weren’t as strong.
Overall, it’s a good quality lotion and if you like those kinds of smells then this is for you!

I use this on my face. I swapped from the yellow cleanser. It works great & my skin feels great! Looks much better too!

When I first started to rub this over my skin, I wasn’t expecting much from this lotion. It’s a white creamy lotion that is mildly thick, but you don’t feel much in the way of oils or other emollients while massaging across the skin. It is kind of silky and glides easily.
After using this on my legs, my arms and my hands, I have to say that this is much better than I expected. It’s fine on my hands for using after washing, but that’s not really where I like it the best. My best results were on my legs which is the driest part of my body. Not only did it sink in deeply, but it conditioned the surface to make them feel really soft and smooth. They even had a bit of a shine to them. The healthy kind, not some sort of oily reflective shine. Plus, they stayed that way for a couple days. Think it was that staying power that really impressed me.
Once massaged into the skin, it’s not oily or greasy feeling. The skin feels dry, as in not damp. But it also feels moisturized without the heavy use of emollients.
This is quite good and will probably satisfy most users. Seems as though it would be safe for those with sensitive skin. Barely any scent that I could detect but what is there, is very light.

There is a lot going on here for a body lotion and I really love it! It smells amazing; fresh and crisp, like spring morning air in the mountains. The formula is thicker than I expected, rich and creamy in texture, almost like a body butter. It absorbs rather quickly for such a thick cream and feels like nothing but soft smooth skin. I love that there is no texture or shine left behind after application, and my clothes wear comfortably over this, even in a high humidity climate. Lastly, the clean ingredients and plant based retinol are huge bonuses to me that I really appreciate. This is a winner in my book and I would definitely purchase this again!

Love this lotion- it makes my skin soft and hydrated and gets completely absorbed. However, the packaging just doesn’t work well for the consistency of the lotion. I have to completely screw off the top to get what I need out. Other than that, I will continue to purchase.
