Supplements are usually hard to review, as you don’t usually feel them working, with the exception of some anti inflammatory ones, so you take them, and hope they keep you healthier. CoQ 10 is a little different, because it is natural to your body, and vital for cardiovascular health. More importantly, if you take any Statins, like Lipitor, or its equivalents, they strip your CoQ 10 levels. So replenishing them is really important.
These gummies taste great, and are almost too good. When a supplement tastes this good, you have to remind yourself not to take more than the recommended dosage, which is two gummies. The flavor is banana, although I thought I tasted a slight pineapple flavor too, but maybe because the banana flavor reminded me of a tropical cocktail. Regardless, they not only taste great, but they were extremely fresh. I always check for the seal, under the cap, and not only did these have a foil seal, they were slightly vacuum packed, as I heard the swoosh when I broke the seal. Excellent tasting and very important supplement. Very highly recommended!

I would have given these five stars except for the very small print of “per serving” under the 200 mg on the label. They are really only 100 mg so you have to eat 2 of them to get the 200 mg most doctors recommend.

The Herbamama website does not specify any manufacturing certifications such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which is important since it supposedly ensures a certain level of quality and food safety during the manufacturing and packaging process. I believe this should be a standard that should be met with every supplement manufacturer. In lieu of this, they should provide certificates of analysis (COA) for all of their products, but do not, so I will just have to take their word for what I am getting.
As most people know who are looking for CoQ10 supplements, it has many heart-related health benefits, but prices vary widely. On paper, it looks great – 200mg of CoQ10 in each gummy that looks like it should taste like oranges, but instead, smells and tastes like bananas. The gummies are firm, so I have to take some time to dissolve them, and the taste is very good, and not too sweet. For the price and ease of use, I would recommend these.
