Bottle comes double sealed and upon opening, no off odors and it has the one feature on the label that I in particular, look for and that is MADE IN USA. I opened one of the capsules and the powder inside really has no discernable taste – doesn’t mean anything, just an observation. It does come with the ominous Ca. Prop 65 warning that seems to be on everything sold in CA these days. I did a little digging and although it says that this may have chemicals known to the state of CA to cause birth defects, the truth of the matter is that the standard is the level of exposure that would result in no more than one excess case of cancer in 1 million individuals exposed to the chemical over a 70-year lifespan. So you can see, the way CA views it is that everything is dangerous so they are out to protect us from ourselves. I

I get this for my husband, he swears by it’s effectiveness in relieving and keeping at bay gout flare ups. Ny niece uses it for arthritis pain.

I just finished reading the book “Drop Acid” by David Perlmutter, MD, and he recommends Tart Cherry to bring down uric acid levels. Lowering uric acid is alleged to help improve many areas of body function, such as insulin sensitivity (and thus helps support weight loss). So far, I have been using frozen whole tart cherries in some meals, and have noticed these help me to keep my weight down, but having a handy capsule to take instead, on days I am not incorporating actual cherries into my diet, is a win-win! The bottle costs less than $10 for a 4 month supply, so it’s a great value and very affordable. The capsules are odorless, flavorless, and easy to swallow. And, made in USA! All in all, a really great product!
