A large jar, containing 2.3 pounds of psyllium husk powder. Perfect for adding fiber into your daily diet. The powder is orange flavor. It supports healthy heart, and digestion.

This had a nice flavor to it, and it mixed easily into water. You could also mix this with juice or into a smoothie. Psyllium husk powder is basically used to help maintain good gut health and bowels; and this product appears to do the job, similar to other products like it. It is a good value; this container has 2.3 pounds in it and should last a while. Psyllium husk powder can help with both constipation and diarrhea, unlike using a regular laxative. It is even used to combat irritable bowel syndrome and hemorrhoids. It also has the added benefit of helping to regulate blood sugar (for people with diabetes). This company is based in the US and appears to use quality ingredients, which is important when choosing a product like psyllium husk (which can come with heavy metals contaminating the product). Overall a nice addition to your supplements, highly recommend!

This tastes pretty bad. 1 rounded teaspoon in water was enough for me! The orange flavor is taken over by the artificial sweetener taste.

I highly recommend investing in one of those electronic mixing cups: I started using one for greens powder, and am using it for my fiber, too. Some other reviewers have had a hard time mixing this well, but it’s smooth as silk for me in the cup. There are neat rechargeable ones here on Amazon, and if you’re invested in daily fiber this helps.
This fiber has a bit too much aspartame for my taste, but it’s tolerable. The fiber itself is smooth as silk. It doesn’t need yellow coloring, and I agree that the label is inaccurate claiming that there is no artificial sweetener. The supplement website is unclear about origin of materials or the people behind the product. It seems good, despite my few concerns, and I’m glad to have this big tub of fiber!

I was really looking forwards to the arrival of this product, being a recent convert to the use of psyllium fiber, which I take two to three times daily. And it’s a heck of a big jar–psyllium fiber is not cheap!!
But I must confess to not having paid enough attention to reading the ingredients list on the product label when I ordered it, because there are some red flags there. I know the manufacturer does make some organic products–I’ve purchased some–and with a name like “Herbal Secrets”, one might well expect predominately natural and healthful ingredients. I was disappointed to see that the product is sweetened with aspartame, which some people feel is a better choice for them than sucrose or high fructose corn syrup, because of their health issues. But this is no different than Metamucil, or several other leading brands that contain aspartame, a very controversial chemical, and that is not my main concern.
What concerns me the most here are the false and contradictory claims on the ingredients list. The label states that the ingredients are, “Psyllium Fiber Powder, Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Aspartame, Yellow #6”
Directly below that, the label states that
it “contains no: Preservatives, Artificial Colors, Flavors or Sweeteners, Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Milk, Egg, Fish, Shellfish or Tree Nuts”.
In order, the inaccuracies are as follows:
It states that it contains artificial flavors, and below that says there are no artificial flavors.
It states that that it contains Aspartame, an artificial sweetener, and below that states that it contains no artificial sweeteners.
It states that it contains Yellow #6, an artificial color derived from coal tar dyes. Yet below that, it avers that there are no artificial colors.
I’m sorry, but I find this self-contradictory ingredients list disturbing. What I can be certain of: Many people can read the ingredients list without much understanding of the nature of some of the ingredients. But almost everyone can read, with full comprehension, the claim that it “Contains No: Preservatives, Artificial Colors, Flavors or Sweeteners, Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Milk, Egg, Fish, Shellfish, or Tree Nuts”. So, trusting the manufacturer to make honest assertions, some people will buy the product, assuming it to be free of synthetic chemicals, and not being familiar with everything on the ingredients list. Others, who have confidence in the manufacturer, may barely skim the ingredients section of the label. This product is manufactured at an “FDA Regulated Facility” in New Jersey, according to the label, but I doubt the FDA is aware of the contradictory claims on the label.
I ordered this product for myself, hoping it would meet my needs for some time to come; instead, I am reluctant to try it, because whether it is carelessness or duplicity that led to the contradictions on the label, I have lost confidence in the manufacturer, and I am reluctant to try this product, as it involves taking it internally. I think many others would be similarly reticent in a situation like this. My assessment of the nature of the ingredients can easily be confirmed with a little online research. For me to give a product a good review, I must be confident that the manufacturer is being straightforward with the customer!

The psyllium husk did come double sealed.
The specs are about the same as another brand I have bought before, but with a few less calories.
The texture and taste are really good. A very nice mellow orange flavor, almost like a creamsicle. Unfortunately, it did not mix really well, about half the powder clumped up and floated in the drink. I drank some and added more water, but it wouldn’t dissolve. I added less the next day, and it still didn’t dissolve fully.
I have tried the big-name brand, as well as the store brand version, and those leave a sticky residue in the glass. But this one does not. I think it tastes better than those two, I just wish it mixed as well
Pro: Tastes good with no sticky residue
Con: Doesn’t dissolve completely.

This is a loose Pink powder Psyllium, not in capsules.
You have to mix this with water , if it’s too thick you can add more water, or juice.
It’s good for cholesterol , and IBS if you constipated , and also good.
My husband said the taste was pretty good!! I do not agree.
Comes in a large hard plastic container.
I should have read the ingrediance before ordering this!
There is, Maltodextrin , Artificial flavor, Aspartame, and Yellow #6. Also natural flavors which are not healthy at all also.
I do not eat fake dyes, and fake sugars they close up my throat besides there heavily processed.

This probably works better for irregularly than the common OTC brands but it is very difficult to mix. My picture is after stirring it for quite a while. The other thing I don’t like is the warning label regarding cancer. This warning is common, but still a little scary, and is not required on the common OTC brands.
