Doctor recommended this for varicose veins. It did seem to help but i’d advise starting very low on the amount you use. First time I used it I went by the recommended amount and it was too much for me and made me urinate all the water in my body. Taste is bad kinda like the sweat of a Persian.

I haven’t noticed a difference in “very close” veins as my kiddo used to call them; however, I have noticed a marked improvement in ankle swelling, which was my main reason for this purchase. Stoneroot is said to help with edema (water retention) and is anti-inflammatory. Something else I’ve had a decrease of is headaches, which I realized as I was writing this. I had a headache for 62 days straight and had resigned myself to that being life now. I’ve still had headaches, but the back-to-back streak has been broken. The headaches were from mild to “I’m not leaving this dark cold room and I’m living in the fetal position forever” intensity. Ibuprofen doesn’t phase these headaches (I take nothing for the mild ones – I tough those out because they’re nothing compared to the big daddies I get and ibuprofen is rough on the organs with constant use).
I Am taking this concurrently with Eye Health and PMS so that combination must be factored in. I take Vein Health 2x daily and Eye Health in the morning, PMS in the evening. I’m unsure whether the PMS formula works, yet – it hasn’t been put to the test. Lastly I take 1200 mg of fish oil (dry eyes), 3 mg of melatonin nightly (insomnia). Aging blows.
I take the tinctures because it’s cost effective and I don’t want to have a meal of pills nightly, nor could I possibly drink that much tea. I’m treating arthritis in my back, headaches, edema, and attempting to stave off glaucoma. I looked at each herb to ensure I’m not contraindicating or being counterproductive (e.g. lemon balm is not good for glaucoma so I’ve passed on formulas that include lemon balm). It’s always possible I missed something, but given that I’ve been taking these for 45 days and doing well on the mixtures I think I’ve got this under control.
The taste is unpleasant, but I wash it down with a glass of water and go on about my business no worse for the wear.
Update:
Went on vacation April 6th, didn’t take this along for fear of it getting broken or confiscated by Customs (had no idea what would be okay and what wouldn’t, first time out of the country in 30 years). Got home April 11th.
Headache April 10th. April 14th feet were swelling again. Woke up with a bad headache April 15th and again the 16th. Started back up with 2 doses / day April 15th. Ordering 4 oz bottle April 16th. If it’s snake oil, it’s snake oil that works and I’ll let my mind be tricked!
20180711 Update:
I’ve been forgetting to take it and I can tell a difference. Feet are swelling more and I get headaches when I don’t take it. Something else I’ve noticed since I’ve started taking this in conjunction with the others – my heart races less often. That’s something I didn’t expect. My mornings used to start with my heart beating hard and fast. Evenings as well, once I settled into bed. Now, I’m not going to say that’s 100% to the tinctures’ credit. There was a major source of stress that has been slowly phasing out and it could have been that anxiety which was responsible for the hyperactive heart. I only mention it because my heart was doing the same thing the other day and it coincided with not taking the tinctures for a few days and I wasn’t thinking about the aforementioned event.

I like this brand a lot but I’m not sure it’s working.

I’m 43, athletic, in pretty good shape but noticed my legs have felt terribly heavy and uncomfortable lately. I needed to sit and prop legs up multiple times a day to relieve the “uncomfortableness”. Legs were swelling and looking chunky. I started this (my mother recommended) and noticed a difference by the next morning. Swelling gone and no more pain in 5 days. So far so good!

I bought it because I read on Internet that it can help with spider veins. I decided to give it a try. And it worked! I noticed after a week that spider veins started to fade away. But also the little red spots started to dissolve. They got light pink. I applied it topically once a day. Just a few drops. I am impressed. I am gonna keep doing it. I hope to get rid of them completely.

I use this for my varicose veins which feel like I am getting small electrical shocks, at times. This works and I feel so much better afterwards. I have been using this for year’s on and off. When I exercise, I strengthen my veins and don’t need it. Pure, no chemicals and my veins are thankful.

I did my homework and found stoneroot, butcher’s broom and horsechestnut to be some of the most talked about herbals for vein health. This compound contains them all with the addition of 2 others. It’s simply the plant extracts with alchohol, which doesn’t taste very good (as I would expect). I’ve been taking the theraputic dose for almost a month now and I still have 1/3 left in the bottle. I find this to be a terrific value especially in light of experiencing some significant healing within 2 weeks of use. First some deep itching and minor bruising coming to the surface mostly in the lower legs. Minor itching around my nose and deep inside my eyes. Which I do believe was all an indication of healing. The spider veins in the lower legs are diminishing which is a nice visual cue to the healing that is happening. As part of a broader nutitional approach this is a fantastic addition.
Combining bioflavanoids (especially rutin) creates a winning synergy. Add in fresh fruit/vegetable or juices of apples, carrots, bell peppers, ginger, spinach, celery etc…all support the healing process.
In short I have experienced results using this product and I recommend it. Best wishes.
