It’s a sturdy bag that will not break easily. Great for leafs, bottles and cans. Things with thorns, I would get a super heavy duty version.

I’ve always been a fan of Hefty trash bags. The 39 gallon; 38 count are just what I need. The are very strong and you get a lot of bags at a such a fantastic price. I also love the scent of the bags. I am very happy that Amazon has these trash bags.

These are the ONLY trash bags I use. I put them in my kitchen trash can and never worry about over filling them or having the bag rip or just plain break. True, many may feel they are just too large for a kitchen trash can, but consider how many times you over stuff it and gross stuff falls onto the floor and you have to get out another bag to handle the overflow. The ties securely close the bags so nothing falls out. At 39 gal capacity they can not only handle a lot of trash, but their heavy duty design means they can handle a lot of weight. Never once have I had one of these bags leak. These trash bags are fantastic. Still they can’t keep your neighbors cat from tearing into them.

In late Fall after leaf season, I buy up lots of boxes (in stores) – when they go on sale. They are 39 gallon, strong, and work really well in my “slim jim” tall kitchen trash can. These 38 count boxes are a great price, and the real deal. I put them on autoship so I don’t have to invest a fortune in the Fall anymore.
