This was honestly a God sent and i praise him for that. It has cured many things that were wrong with my body all my life(btw im 26yrs). I have suffered from PMS all my life. I also had anxiety and felling overwhelmed with life. I had low energy (fatigue) through out the day, i had to take a nap to get through my day and even if i did, i didn’t feel rested enough. I also had insomnia, digestive issues.
I visted so many doctors who mostly diagonised me with depression, low blood cells, low immunity and other things. I took prscribed medications, i also tried candida cleanses, took natural herbs and probiotic (which have helped with digestive issues but not other issues, i still take probiotics) but all the meds didn’t help and decided to go off the meds cause my stomach couldn’t take it. (I spent thousands of dollars on meds). I honestly made it through my day by the power of God.
BUT With this magnesium all my symptoms were gone the next morning of my first pill. Sleep insomnia is gone, fatigue is gone, i have energy, no more brain fogs, no more PMS, no more anxiety or overwhelmed( very calm now). I thank God everyday for this magnesium, i wish i knew of this as a teenager and college years. It would have made my experience studying and learning so much better because i liked learning but fatigue and anxiety were not on my side. This is also a very good quality magnesium, i highly recommend it.

This magnesium bisglycinate is made from the Albion TRAACS® (The Real Amino Acid Chelate System) patented process. It’s CHELATED to become 100% FULLY REACTED ( that means its molecules are all attached) and contains micro particle active ingredients that facilitats better absorption. The vast majority of other Magnesium Bisglycinate products are not 100% fully reacted!
One (1) CAPLET contains 100 mg. NET of both elemental and soluable Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate. Most other products claim Gross Magnesium Bisglycinate COMPLEX in their content disclosures. Those products actually only contain 10-14% NET of soluable ELEMENTAL Magnesium from their meaningless GROSS Magnesium Bisglycinate COMPLEX claims.
Fortunately TRAACS® Magnesium Bisglycinate chelate actually contains the most bioavailable form of all Magnesium products. Compared to other Magnesium Bisglycinate COMPLEX products that have supplement facts lables claiming to contain as as much as 500 mg or more of GROSS MAGNESIUM BISGLYCINATE COMPLEX, but in reality only contain between 45 mg to 65 mg of actual absorbable and soluable ELEMENTAL MAGNESIUM on average.
A supplement facts label that specifies a 100 mg NET of ELEMENTAL MAGNESIUM content in each pill will contain 100 mg. NET of soluable magnesium in each pill in comparison.
Healthy Origins and some other reputable supplement manufacturers don’t state their meaningless GROSS COMPLEX content. Because it’s IRRELEVANT, CONFUSING and doesn’t help average consumers GET the soluable ELEMENTAL MAGNESIUM dosage they’re looking for.

1.Glycine molecules occupy the reactive sites of Magnesium, so it prevents the Magnesium from binding with other substances that would undesirably misdirect it’s pathway, not allowing it to get through the small intestine lining, this FORM avoids reduced absorption.
2. Amino acids like Glycine increase solubility of the whole compound, improving its bioavailability. The glycine acts as a adjuvant to the magnesium, and must be fully bonded to it, to protect it, until it’s absorbed into the bloodstream, where it then helps it to be finally dissolved.
3. When magnesium is fully bonded to glycine, it reduces the binding of water to the magnesium, which reduces or completely eliminates the frequently encountered problem of loose stools caused by many other (magnesium oxide and magnetism citrate} forms that have comparatively poor absorbtion characteristics, because they are very water binding and are significantly less bioavailable forms because of their undesirable water absorbing characteristics.

Many vegans have asked what is the source of the glycine in this product? I directly asked Balchem/Albion who is the manufacturer of the Glycine being used in their TRAACS formula, What is the source of their Glycine? Is it from an Animal, Plant or possibly from a Synthetic source? They answered, “It’s derived via a chemical synthesis from a variety of sources.” That means it’s synthetic!
TABLETS VERSUS CAPSULES:
UNFORTUNATELY the TRAACS version offered by Healthy Origins is produced in a undesirable TABLET form IMO, and because of this it must contain a troublesome array of UNNECESSARY INGREDIENTS:
Croscarmellose Sodium 2%,
Silicon Dioxide 1%,
Magnesium Stearate 1%,
Stearic Acid 2%,
Microcrystalline Cellulose 19%,
Hypromellose 1%,
Glycerin 1%.
These add up to 27% of its content, they are all unnecessary fillers, excipients and binders. Unfortunately they are used to speed production, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase profitability. This makes the tablets unnecessarily large, difficult to swallow, rock hard and slow to dissolve, requiring more undesirable ingredients that are then needed to break the tablet apart in your intestines. They provide no therapeutic benefit and according to many informed nutritional doctors, they are concerned many of these unnecessary ingredients are considered to have unknown side effects and known inflammatory properties.
The remaining 73% content is Magnesium Bisglycinate gross Complex providing 100 mg net of SOLUBLE ELEMENTAL Magnesium per TABLET. Considering their size and cost, even though it’s EXTREMELY bioavailable, you still would have to take 4 tablets a day to reach the average RDA of 400mg. This is very important to those who are completely magnesium deficient. I was informed that reaching the RDA while maintaining cost effectiveness for the targeted user was Healthy Origins main objective in the creation of their supplement.
I get plenty of magnesium from dietary sources daily, so I only need to supplement, and only take 2 tablets daily. But if I was severely Magnesium deficient I would consider using 4 tablets daily of the TRAACS product for its overall superior (absorbtion) bioavailability.
UPDATED OPINION: After using this product for over 5 years, even though it works well for me, I have become increasingly concerned with the unwanted tableting ingredients it contains. I WOULD LIKE TO AVOID THEM IF POSSIBLE!
This has compelled me to SWITCH to a CAPSULE FORM of TRAACS Magnesium Glycinate.
Although there are many capsule forms of less expensive magnesium bisglycinate complex available, the majority of them in recent independent testing were found to be either buffered with heavier and less desirable forms of magnesium, such as magnesium oxide and magnesium citrate and are sometimes not fully chelated
Additionally many of the less expensive offerings are ILLUSIONARY VALUE products, and are just comprised of Magnesium added to Glycine. That doesn’t create REAL Magnesium Bisglycinate. Their molecules are not completely molecularly attached, if at all. This means they’re not (fully reacted ) 100% chelated. That completely inferior method causes them to be GREATLY LESS ABSORBABLE resulting in DRASTICALLY less EFFECTIVENESS, because their magnesium isn’t as (bioavailable) SOLUABLE or PROTECTED so it can reach your bloodstream and not be rejected and expelled by your colon instead.
This ingredient MANIPULATION is done also to make them HEAVIER, so they can be advertised as having MORE MILLIGRAMS per pill which creates the meaningless ILLUSION that you’re getting more for your money, but it’s a FALSE reality, you’re actually getting FAR LESS ELEMENTAL ABSORBABLE MAGNESIUM. That should be your FIRST priority. Forget about the GROSS magnesium glycinate COMPLEX MILLIGRAM CLAIM, it’s a meaningless advertising tactic! Be most concerned with how many milligrams of SOLUBLE MAGNESIUM the product you’re considering contains first and last.
This practice of supplement manufacturing MANIPULATION is unfortunately done to reduce the producers costs of manufacturing and INCREASE their PROFITABILITY, while IGNORING the products EFFICACY. This is a common practice of many UNSCRUPULOUS SELLERS of far too many magnesium supplements.
