This works okay ish. Helped a little with cradle cap but not as much as I was hoping for. The smell of this shampoo, smells like dirt if I’m being completely honest. I wouldn’t buy again.

If your child struggles with dandruff, dry scalp, or cradle cap, this stuff works. This is legitimately the O N L Y thing that finally got rid of my son’s cradle cap / dandruff. He has been struggling with it since he was born, and we didn’t discover this brand until he was about 2.5! We had tried so many different things marketed towards getting rid of dryness and dandruff, so please keep that in mind. Those other things did help some, but never got rid of it completely or to the point it was substantially better. However, this stuff is super gentle and super effective. It impressed me so much more than I thought possible, as I was about at my wits end due to all the other things we had tried without success. Please give it a try if you’re in the same boat!

We used this when we saw the first sign that our baby might get cradle cap. The first two washes we were amazed at what came off of his scalp, after that it was as clean and soft as can be. He never actually got full blown cradle cap and I credit that to this shampoo. Since he has very sensitive skin, we have continued to use it for his whole body as well as their lotion. It does the job well and has a mild, clean scent.

No kidding, this helped my son’s cradle cap after one wash. I’m also using it as a body wash and I’ve noticed my skin is less dry and itchy. It’s scent free and works very well on dry, sensitive skin.

My daughter started getting cradle cap pretty badly at around 3 weeks old. This got rid of it entirely in two washes—I was pretty amazed. Her hair loss wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be either. Her hair is coming back in and we still use it for shampoo because it lathers VERY nicely and leaves her hair super soft and shiny.

This shampoo and body wash is amazing! My son had a medium mild case of cradle cap. It was also a little on his face and behind the ears. After using this product just once then brushing off the cradle cap with a fine tooth comb. I noticed a huge difference. Overall we used it about 3 times before it was completely gone and hasn’t come back since. My son has super sensitive skin and this did not irritate his skin at all! I would highly recommend!

I have one natural shampoo that is harsher than this one, but I feel it strips my hair too much. Happy Cappy is much gentler, and it makes my head happy, for sure! Even though I didn’t get the medicated one, skin flakes have stopped appearing on my head. I don’t think I had dandruff, but I think my scalp was too dry from my other shampoo. I have very sensitive skin, and was happy that this gentle shampoo cleaned without irritating my scalp. I wash my hair every 2-4 days, using homemade dry shampoo as needed between washings. Most washings, I will use Happy Cappy for a gentle clean. But every 3ish washes, I will use my harsher natural shampoo, because Happy Cappy doesn’t get all the grime out, so my hair eventually wouldn’t look clean after using it alone (I work in gardening and landscaping, and I love hiking… so keeping my hair clean is no small task!) Overall, I’m content that this shampoo doesn’t cause my scalp any problems and mostly cleans my hair. I am trying to figure out how to make my own shampoo, but in the meantime, I’m happy with this plus a harsher cleaning method at rarer intervals.
