Both the oil and the balm dried my nose out and gave me some little irritation bumps on the rest of my face. The scent is lovely and the texture is nice, though, and it *did* take my makeup off! So, four stars, probably good for someone else but not for me.

I’m an esthetician and while I have access to many progressional grade cleansers, I have used this for the past 2 years! It’s the best for removing makeup, oil and dirt and has been amazing at controlling my breakouts. A little goes a long way, I use it morning and night and typically get a new bottle every 6-8 weeks

I hated using makeup removal wipes since I always found them abrasive on my sensitive skin (and they’re such a waste). So I started looking for cleansing oils. I tried products like DHC cleansing oil but that dried out my skin like nothing else, and other “solid” products that were meant to melt upon application didn’t really remove much of my makeup at all. But this Hanskin pore cleansing oil actually works! I have combo skin, so in the beginning it did dry out my cheeks a little bit before I moisturized my face, but after a few weeks, my skin adjusted to it and I don’t have that problem anymore. After I wash my face with this oil, my skin feels clean, soft, and supple. My skin doesn’t feel tight, and it’s also great for dissolving any whiteheads or oil buildup on your face. I prefer products that are fragrance-free (mostly to avoid any irritants) but the scent of this oil is light and nice and doesn’t irritate my skin. I rarely review products, but this oil deserved one.

The Hanskin BHA Pore Cleansing Oil is a decent option for those with combination or oily skin looking for a gentle cleanser that targets blackheads and effectively removes makeup. The oil is light and easy to apply, and I noticed that it does a good job melting away most makeup, even waterproof mascara. After using it consistently for a couple of weeks, my skin felt less congested, and blackheads seemed slightly reduced.
However, it wasn’t quite as effective on deeply embedded blackheads as I’d hoped, and sometimes it left a slight oily residue that required a second cleanse. The scent is mild, which is a plus, but I also found the formula a bit drying if used every day. It’s a solid product but didn’t fully meet my expectations for deep pore-cleansing, so I’ll keep searching for something that suits my skin needs better.

Ok I tried all the things that are out there to clean my skin and let me tell you this oil is IT!!
I had no idea that the actual oil can clean your skin so well where I have 0 pimples. I always used to have 1 or 2 here and there. My t-zone is oily so I always had something popping up. My skin is good overall but it was never perfect especially when I had my period or you know how it is. It just comes out of nowhere. But I gotta knock on the wood- since I’ve been using this oil I mean, my skin feels amazing and no pimples! Thank you for this product it’s truly amazing!! And I’m not even payed to write this review lol. But when something is good I have to say it out loud.. since there are so many products on the market and they are just useless.. this one is Not Useless. You want this trust me and thank me later.
