I was an avid Liquid IV user when I could get it extreme couponing at Rite Aid. The watermelon was among my favorite flavors. I will use that as a basis for comparison given that Liquid IV is likely the most popular brand of hydration booster.
Flavor: I could smell the watermelon immediately upon opening the packet. As my headline states, it tastes like a Jolly Rancher minus the sour. It does contain citric acid so it is nice that the flavor isn’t masked by it. The pink is a bit off-putting though since none of the ingredients are for color.
Sweetness: With much less sugar than Liquid IV, and also complemented by stevia, it is not too sweet and a potentially healthier option (check with your healthcare provider as individual needs vary).
Sodium: Again, much lower than Liquid IV so a potentially healthier option for those of us watching our blood pressure. There is no saltiness whatsoever.
Overal, this surprisingly bright pink packet has a hard candy-like flavor that isn’t sweet, sour or salty.

As soon as you open the packet you smell the watermelon flavor. Smells so good! It also tasted really good. I love that it is made with stevia and the way it is made you don’t get an aftertaste. It is made in the USA and is certified as non-GMO which is very important to me. I highly recommend this product and will be buying this again!

I’ve tried multiple Halo flavors and this is my favorite to date. I also enjoyed the pina colada, pink lemonade and peach flavors. Similar to those this mixes very easily in a normal glass of water and tastes quite refreshing over ice.
Highly recommend Halo for not only a quality product for hydration which also tastes good without all the artificial flavoring.

I ordered this product and had my first glass after a long day of work and a gym session. I didn’t have a shaker bottle, but just stirring dissolved the product very quickly! The flavor is good but you can still taste a little of the underlying flavor. It’s not too distracting though, and the watermelon covers it well.
