There are a lot of good omega 3 fish oil supplements on the market, but what stands out to me about these is they are packaged in sterile blister packs. This keeps them fresh and is convenient for the office or for travel. It also brings me piece of mind that they are IFOS 5-star certified and made in the USA.

These fish oil supplements are very good for their category, in that they are small, easy to swallow, and have no discernible taste or smell to them. They are two to a serving so this is a month’s supply. Given that you will go through these in a month, as they are a daily supplement, I find the amount of packaging to be unnecessary and wasteful. They are individually packaged in blister packs with multiple sheets in the box. I personally find this to be over packaged. If I’m taking something daily and it’s not a gigantic bottle that will take months to go through, I don’t need all that packaging. Blister packs make more sense for a medicine taken only occasionally to make sure to keep it fresh. Also, these are a bit pricey–perhaps to cover the costs of all the extra packaging? I’d much rather just have them loose in a bottle at a lower price.

This appears to be a high quality product, no ill effects after a few weeks. Although, it is not clear on the sourcing of the ingredients. They appear to have a typo on the packaging as this is only a 30 day supply. I think the packaging is a bit overkill. You can get the same results in a bottle with a desiccant pack.
Given the misrepresentation of the quantity, the price does not align with similar products. I am not docking a star for this, but I generally would.

I have been looking for fish oil in a capsule form that is easy to swallow and digest. I have had problems in the past with burbing up fish oil smell about an hour after taking a fish oil supplement. I ordered a 60 capsule blister pack of EPA1000 Mini Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement from the HAIM Store. I looked up EPA and it is Eicosapentaenoic acid which is an omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil and cold-water fish like salmon and tuna. EPA is one of the two main types of omega-3s in fish oil, along with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). I didn’t know that the body can’t produce omega-3s, so they must come from food and or supplements. The EPA1000 Mini Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement has a high concentration of 96% EPA Omega-3. I take 2 gel capsules a day to provide me with 1000mg EPA. I like how the fish comes from non-endangered fish species. I worry about mercury levels in tuna and other fish but the info says that heavy metals are below the detection limit. So far no burbing up fish smell and I will be so very happy if that is a non-issue with taking these capsules by the HAIM store. 5 bigs stars for quality and easy digestion!

These are good quality fish oil capsules that do not have any strong fish smell, are easily swallowed, and seem to be of excellent omega-3 fatty acids. The only complaint I have is these come in blister packs; each capsule you have to pop out individually. Fish oil is something that you take each day, normally in 2 capsules, and so it makes little sense to package them this way. Its not a medication taken as needed between long periods of time, such as a heartburn over the counter pill, one might need only a few times a year. Fish oil is more easily dispensed in a jar. Overall, good, but I am going with 4 stars due to the uncecessary packaging.

These Haim EPA 1000 mini capsules provide 1100mg of Omega-3 per two capsules. The company states that they are made in the USA, third party verified and heavy metals are below the detection limit. Derived from sustainable small fish off of the cold, clean waters of Chile and Peru from non endangered species.
So far I’ve experienced no aftertaste, burping, or digestive issues from taking 2 daily with a meal and I’m impressed with the quality of this supplement. I’ve tried many brands of Omega-3 fish oil capsules over time and had to stop taking them because of the unpleasant side effects. I’ve also tried the vegan Omega-3 brands and didn’t think they were helping me with inflammation or joint health. This companies product is definitely superior to other brands and I feel good taking it. The cost is higher than most i’ve tried but the quality is better so I can understand the difference. This is a really good product that has real benefits that recommend.
