Gut Within by ED & I Swimwear comes in a pouch with 60 capsules that will give you 30 days worth based on the serving suggestion size of 2x capsules per day. The pouch is compostable and surprisingly the capsules inside were not damage. I say surprisingly because there was little to no air in the pouch to protect them against getting squished. I’m surprised that I don’t see a Supplement Facts label on the back – I guess not all supplements require that? It notes that there are 10 probiotic strains with a total CFU of 4 billion. Seems like a lot, but then again I have another supplement that has 150 billion CFU’s in it. There is no set standard for what is the right amount. I suspect that it has more to do with the specific probiotic strains that are used and their provenance. Unfortunately this doesn’t state what the specific strains are. The gold capsules put me off when I saw them in person because it doesn’t seem like there is anything organic that is making them that color. I don’t know what is but it does state here in the listing there are ‘formulated without artificial flavors or colors.’ Maybe it’s real gold? In addition to the probiotic strains previously mentioned this also has Chaga Mushroom Extract, Cayenne Powder, Inulin Fiber and Zinc Methionine – all ingredients that are claimed to make your gut happy. As for the pricing, well I think they are expensive all considering. Perhaps there is something about this brand that I am unaware of that would make it a more luxury item. Speaking of being unaware of the brand, I had to double and triple check and yes, it is ED & I Swimware and not Skincare (although they do make skincare products). Maybe if you are fans of the brands various products, you’ll find this pricing in line with the rest of it. This is made in New Zealand.

I regularly take probiotics for gut health, and have tried many different brands over the years. I wanted to try the ED&I because they have Chaga in them, and I have read a lot of studies that show it reduces bloat. These tablets are a copper color and come in a paper pack. So if you really need your pills in a bottle, then this isn’t the product for you. I, personally, don’t mind the packet and reducing plastic consumption is definitely a good thing in my opinion. The instructions say 1-2 tablets per day. I’ve only been taking them for a few days and opted with the 1. It’s more cost effective to take only one per day, and so far that dose seems to be fine for me. I’ve had no issues taking them, they don’t have a strange odor or taste, and my digestion seems good. The manufacturer recommends two months for the full results to be seen, and I’m optimistic about ordering these again at that time.

These easy to take capsules combine pre and probiotics to help boost gut flora populations and regulate the pipeworks. The capsules are an intriging gold in color, yet created from food-safe colors according to the product’s website.
At two capsules per day, taken preferrably on an empty stomach for me, this supplement was easy to take and swallowed well with just a glass of water. The capsules are smaller than the average capsule, a 00 size or perhaps smaller, I beleive, and did not upset my stomach. The inulin within however did give me a few toots and may also do so for others who are sensitive to inulin prebiotic fiber (not everyone is). The bonus of chaga mushrooms also is great to provide a boost for my memory and immune health.
When it comes to regulation, this supplement takes the cake! I’ve taken it for almost a month now, but noticed less bloating and more smoothness down south after just a week. My BMs were relatively regulated by the 2 week mark, except on days where I was dehydrated, so I highly recommend drinking plenty of water with any gut health regime. At the near one month point now, I would say my BMs are very regular, and I haven’t needed to take extra fiber any more since the 2 week point. This is great stuff!!!

This supplement is a probiotic with Chaga mushrooms and prebiotic fiber from inulin. It has a probiotic blend, though i don’t like that the specific strains aren’t listed. It also contains cayenne pepper which aids in digestion. These have a copper gelatin capsule which isn’t for vegans. I haven’t noticed any benefits or side effects after a couple weeks, so I’m not sure of their effectiveness in general, though results are listed to be seen by 2 months. I wish this product had some certifications I’m used to and a later expiration date than 8/25. I do like the compostable packaging though.
