These have a single waxed “mini-tape” that easily slides between teeth and over fillings and sharp edges. Previously, I had used flossers with 1 or 2 thin strings, which got caught when I tried to pull them back from both lower and upper teeth. After catching on fillings and finally damaging a crown, I’d had enough. The stringed flossers had to go. Moreover, embedding the pick in the handle merely produced inconvenience and mess. The GUM flossers, on the other hand, position the pick at the other end, where it can be deployed without further fuss. Most importantly, the wide, waxed strip of the GUM flossers ensures a smooth entry and a safe exit.

These work amazingly well. I had been leery of this type of dental floss because I have tight-fitting teeth which shreds whatever floss I use. These GUM Comfort Slide Floss Picks have never shredded, to my amazement, and the pick end of the GUM Comfort Slide Floss Picks works well as a tooth pick. I’m happy to have found these.

These are the silky glide floss which doesn’t hold up to use across all your teeth. It loosens and doesn’t get stuck food out as well as floss that more like string (can’t think how to describe it).

These are so much better than the super thin brands that break the minute you try to floss. They’re pretty sturdy but may break if you have really tight spaces between teeth.

I only like GUM’s brand and type of piks. The floss is thick and durable enough to last during teeth cleaning and less risk for bleeding. The sharper end is designed to help push out debris in between teeth and plastic needle is thin enough to do that. I love these piks and I refuse to buy any other kind lol

I like how many there are for a low price and there’s no awful plastic taste. They do bend a little bit when you press on them, and the floss itself doesn’t stay taut long, but I can’t complain for the price. They don’t break, which is nice, and aren’t hard to use.
