    Takes very little for me. Like that it is just guaifenesin. no additives.

    I have used this product for years to keep mucus thin. I prefer to buy in bulk because it’s cheaper and pure product.

    I use this to help with mild to moderate pain and mucous. This is the only guaifenesin on the market that I have found without nasty additives. The taste is vile like all guaifenesin but it’s worth taking it straight out of the bag (measured of course) for the health benefits.

    It is always recommended that guaifenesin is best taken with plenty of water, because that helps to loosen what has built up in your sinuses.

    Here is a suggestion for adults taking this product: Get a glass of water ready. Take a tiny, clean, dry, stainless steel “lab” type of spatula and scoop out a small amount of the powder about the size of a pea. Then just dump it on your tongue and quickly drink the water. YES it is BITTER, but not any more so than black coffee. Afterward rinse and dry the spatula and tightly seal the guaifenesin container. I have not seen any adverse interactions with other food products documented about it, so you can drink it with your favorite fruit juice if you think it leaves an after taste. I would not try to mix it in the glass though, because it is hard to predict how well it will dissolve in any one particular juice.

    First I tried the hard quaifenesin tablets and they didn’t agree with me. Then found some with no color; still a problem because it was the binders in the tablets causing the digestive issues. The next step was purchasing quaifenesin in capsules; yes, they were good. The best deal so far has been this guaifenesin powder. The 1/4 pound package made about 345 “0” size capsules. Definitely will purchase again!

    Winter dry’s the air often giving me a dry cough. This stuff fixes that without side effects. Much cheaper than the pills and it has no additives.
